Is the 2K Pan-Tilt Outdoor camera a PoE camera?
No, this camera is not a PoE (Power Over Ethernet) type. It features a dedicated power port separate from the Ethernet port.

What is the camera's Ethernet Port?
The Ethernet Port allows direct connection of Ethernet cables from your router to the camera. This connection provides Ethernet Network Connection for remote access and Fusion Wi-Fi.
What are the compatible SD cards?

Where can I install the camera?
The camera can be installed using an existing power outlet. If installing in an area without an existing outlet, consulting a licensed electrician is highly recommended.

Where should I place my camera?
To achieve a 270° view, place the camera at a corner of your home. Alternatively, position it centrally at the front or rear of your home to maximize the pan/tilt camera feature.
How to adjust the field of view of the camera?
- Launch the Lorex App.
- From the Devices screen, tap a device thumbnail to start live view for a single camera.
- Use the [directional control] to adjust the field of view up and down or left and right.
- For fine adjustments, tap the [fine adjustment control] to adjust the field of view.
How to take a snapshot of live recording?
- Launch the Lorex App.
- From the Devices screen, tap a device thumbnail to start live view for a single camera.
- Tap [snapshot].
Note: Privacy setting must be disabled for taking snapshots.
How to record a live video?
- Launch the Lorex App.
- From the Devices screen, tap a device thumbnail to start live view for a single camera.
- Tap [record].
Note: Privacy setting must be disabled for recording live videos.
Where are my live snapshots and recordings stored?
- Launch the Lorex App.
- Tap the [settings] tab.
- Tap Snapshots & Recordings.

How do I enable motion detection and person detection?
- Launch the Lorex App.
- Tap the [menu] icon above the channel thumbnail on the Devices screen.
- Tap Motion Detection Settings.
- Tap the [toggle] icon to enable Motion/Person detection.
Note: If motion/person detection is disabled, you will not receive any motion detection notifications in the Lorex App.
How do I customize Motion Zones™?
- Launch the Lorex App.
- Tap the [menu] icon above the channel thumbnail on the Devices screen.
- Tap Motion Detection Settings.
- Tap Motion Zones™.

How to enable Smart Track?

How do I adjust the Siren or Two-Way Talk volume?
- Launch the Lorex App.
- Tap the [menu] icon above the channel thumbnail on the Devices screen.
- Tap Sound Settings.
- Tap Siren Volume or Two-Way Talk Volume, and then select the desired volume level.
- Tap Save.
Why am I receiving so many notifications?
To reduce the number of notifications, consider these options:
- Adjust Motion Detection Settings: Enable/disable motion detection and person detection, customize Motion Zones™, and adjust Motion Sensitivity. Refer to Configuring Motion Zones™ for more information.
- Manage Notifications: Configure notifications in Device Settings > Notifications and set a schedule for alerts. Refer to Configuring Notification Settings for more information.
How do I enable Color Night Vision?
- Launch the Lorex App.
- From the Devices screen, tap the [menu] icon to configure device settings.
- Tap the [toggle] icon to disable Auto Night Vision.
Note: Disabling Auto Night Vision forces the camera into Color Night Vision mode, which is recommended for low-light conditions.
How to change the Wi-Fi network?
- Launch the Lorex App.
- From the Devices screen, tap the [menu] icon to configure device settings.
- Tap Wireless Network.
- Select from the list of available Wi-Fi networks.
- Enter the password for the updated Wi-Fi network, then tap Save.
Note: Ensure the correct Wi-Fi password is entered; otherwise, your Lorex device may not connect.
How to change Time Zone?
- Launch the Lorex App.
- From the Devices screen, tap the [menu] icon to configure device settings.
- Tap Time Zone.
- Tap the [selection control] icon next to Time Zone to select from the list of time zones, then tap Save.

Note: Enabling HDR optimizes video picture in high-contrast conditions, such as under-lit and over-lit areas. By default, video quality is set to High.
