- Ready for pairing: Green flashing lights
- Network connection failed: Red flashing lights
- Operating correctly: Solid green light
- Starting or resetting: Red flashing lights
- Updating: Alternating green and red lights
Installation
- Turn off the light.
- Screw the lightbulb camera into an E26/E27 light socket.
Important: Do not turn on the light until you have downloaded and logged into the app.

Connecting to the Lorex App
- Download the Lorex App by scanning the QR code or searching in your app store. Ensure the app is up to date if you already have it.
- Sign up for a new Lorex account or log in to your existing one.
- Turn on the light to power your lightbulb camera. Stay close to the camera until setup is complete.
- In the app, tap the [+] icon to add a new device.
- Tap "Scan QR Code" and scan the code on the packaging or the lightbulb camera.
- A message will confirm when the Device ID is successfully scanned.
- Join the lightbulb camera's hotspot. If it does not show in the app, open your phone's Wi-Fi settings and select “SL300-XXXX.” Wait up to two minutes if it is not listed right away. If it still doesn't appear after two minutes, reset the device and restart the camera setup process.
- Set a device password. Ensure it contains at least 8 characters and a combination of numbers, letters, or special characters.
- Select your Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and connect the lightbulb camera.
- Choose whether to enable audio recording. If disabled, audio will still be heard in live view and two-way talk, but not recorded.
- Select the camera's installation orientation (camera down or camera up) to adjust its view.
- Name your device.
