How to connect smart device via WiFi?
Follow these steps to connect your smart bulb using your WiFi network:
- Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled and the smart bulb is powered on.
- Open the "Surplife" APP. Tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon located in the top right corner of the screen.
- Select your device from the displayed list. Choose your WiFi network, enter the correct password, and confirm to complete the connection.
How to connect smart device via Ble?
To connect your smart bulb using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE):
- Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled and the smart bulb is powered on.
- Open the "Surplife" APP. Tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon located in the top right corner.
- Select your device from the list, then tap "Ble Local Mode" in the upper right corner to finalize the setup.

Important Tips
- WiFi and Bluetooth connections cannot be active simultaneously. If you switch connection methods, please reset the device first.
How to reset the factory setting?
To restore the bulb to its factory default settings, turn the bulb on and off 5 times consecutively. Ensure there are brief pauses between each on/off cycle. The bulb will begin to flash, indicating that the reset process has been successfully completed.
How do I connect to Amazon Alexa?

Tips for Alexa Integration:
- Ensure your device is renamed appropriately within the Alexa app and appears in the device list.
- Confirm that the device status is "Cloud Online". You can check this by navigating to Device Information > Cloud "online" within the Surplife app.
Step 1: Link Surplife Account with Alexa
- In the Surplife app, go to the "Profile" page and tap the "Alexa" icon.
- On the subsequent login page, enter your Amazon Alexa account credentials and tap "Link Now".
Step 2: Control Your Light with Alexa Voice Commands
Once linked, you can use the following voice commands:
- "Turn on/off [light name]."
- "Dim [light name]."
- "Brighten [light name]."
- "Set [light name] to [0-100%]."
- "Turn [light name] to [color]."
Supported Color Options: Blue, Crimson, Cyan, Fuchsia, Gold, Green, Lavender, Lime, Magenta, Orange, Purple, Red, Salmon, Teal, Sky Blue, Turquoise, Violet, Yellow.
Scenes: You can activate pre-set scenes with commands such as: "Alexa, activate [scene name]" or "Alexa, turn on [scene name]".
Troubleshooting Notes:
- If Alexa fails to control your light, please verify the device's "Cloud Online" status.
- Ensure the device name spoken to Alexa matches the name configured in the Alexa app precisely.

How do I connect to Google Assistant?

Tips for Google Assistant Integration:
- Ensure your device is renamed appropriately within the Google Home app and appears in the device list.
- Confirm that the device status is "Cloud Online".
Step 1: Set up Device in Google Home
- Open the Google Home App. Tap the "+" icon in the top left corner and select "Set up device".
- Choose "Works with Google", then search for and select "Surplife".
- Log in using your "Surplife" account credentials to link the services.
Step 2: Control Your Light with Google Assistant Voice Commands
Once linked, you can use the following voice commands:
- "Turn on/off [light name]."
- "Dim [light name]."
- "Brighten [light name]."
- "Set [light name] to [0-100%]."
- "Turn [light name] to [color]."

Light Colors Sync With Music
For music files loaded onto your device:
- In the Surplife app, navigate to the music section. Click "Add music" and then "Import from iTunes" (for iOS devices).

For music files that cannot be loaded directly:
- Access the "Phone Mic" page within the app. The bulb will sync with music detected by your phone's microphone.

To load music files from a PC:
- Copy the provided web link and open it in a web browser on your computer.
- Use the web interface to upload your music files.
- Return to the Surplife app and tap "Confirm" to finalize the upload.

Create a Schedule
To set up automated lighting schedules:
- From the main device screen in the Surplife app, click the device icon.
- Tap the "..." icon [More Options] in the upper right corner.
- Select the "Schedule" option to configure your desired on/off times and settings.

Create a SMART Home Scene
To create automated routines and scenes for your smart home:
Ensure your device is "Cloud online" before proceeding.
Step 1: Access Device Information
- Click the device icon in the Surplife app.
- Tap the "..." icon [More Options] in the upper right corner.
- Navigate to "Device Information" and confirm the status is "Cloud 'on line'".
Step 2: Create a Smart Scene
- Enter the "Smart" page within the app.
- Tap "Create Smart" to begin setting up a new scene.
- Choose the desired mode or automation trigger, and configure your location settings.
