How to Wear
3.1 Can be worn on either side
You can use your Jabra Evolve 65 TE on the left or right side by simply rotating the microphone towards the other side (limit of 270°). To avoid damaging or breaking the microphone, do not rotate it more than 270°.
3.2 How to adjust the headband
Adjust the headband to find the most comfortable position.
3.3 How to position the microphone
It is recommended to position the microphone close to the mouth (1.5 cm). The microphone boom is flexible, allowing you to adjust it to your preferred position.
SAFETY NOTE: Microphones can potentially be used to record private conversations.
How to Charge the Battery
The headset charges when connected to a PC with a USB cable or when using your mobile device's USB charger. You can use the headset for calls while charging it with a USB cable connected to a PC. Charging the battery takes approximately 2 hours.
4.1 Standby Mode
When the headset is on but not in use, standby mode will activate after 15 minutes to save power. To exit standby mode manually, press any button on the headset. After 24 hours in standby mode, the headset will power off completely. To turn the headset back on, slide the Power/Connection switch from On to Off, and then back to On. Standby mode is enabled by default and can be disabled in Jabra Direct.
How to Connect
5.1 Connection with PC (with Jabra Link 390)
- Ensure the headset is connected.
- Connect the Jabra Link 390 device to any available USB port on your PC. The headset and Jabra Link 390 are pre-connected.
Before first use, it is recommended to update the headset to the latest firmware via Jabra Direct or Jabra Sound+.
SAFETY NOTE: There is no encryption for data exchange between the headset and USB devices or ports.
5.2 Connection with a mobile device (with Bluetooth)
- Put on the headset.
- Hold the Power/Connection switch in the connection position for 3 seconds until you hear voice prompts. The Bluetooth indicator will flash blue.
- Follow the voice prompts for pairing to connect.
Before first use, it is recommended to update the headset to the latest firmware via Jabra Direct or Jabra Sound+.
SAFETY NOTE: The headset uses a secure Bluetooth connection with 128-bit encryption. If the Bluetooth device does not support secure connections, it will not be possible to pair or connect to the headset.
5.3 Connection with PC (with USB cable)
- Ensure the headset is connected.
- Connect the headset to any USB port on your PC using the included USB cable.

What the LEDs Indicate
Busy Light Indicator
- Solid Red: Busy light is on.
- Flashing Red: Incoming call.
Status LED
- Blue: Call connected or incoming call.
- Flashing Blue: Pairing.
- Red: Charging.
- Green: Battery fully charged.
- Flashing Green: Power on.
- Flashing Red: Power off or low battery.

7.1 Daily Use

7.2 Multi-call Management
The headset can receive and manage multiple calls simultaneously.

7.3 Busy Light
The headset's busy light indicator can be activated to let others know you are occupied.
To Manually Turn Busy Light On/Off: Press the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons simultaneously.
To Activate/Deactivate Busy Light Function: Press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons simultaneously (for 3 seconds).
7.4 Travel Bag Use
When transporting the headset from one place to another, it is recommended to use the travel bag to prevent damage.

8.1 Jabra Direct
Jabra Direct is computer software designed to manage, administer, and facilitate optimal functionality of Jabra devices. Download the latest version free at jabra.com/direct.
8.2 Firmware Updates
Before first use, it is recommended to update the headset to the latest firmware via Jabra Direct. Firmware updates improve performance or add new functionalities to Jabra devices.
- Connect your Jabra Evolve 65 TE to a computer.
- Use Jabra Direct to check for the latest firmware updates.
8.3 Reset Headset
Resetting the headset will erase the list of connected devices and restore all settings.
- Press and hold the Volume Up button, then press the Multifunction button to reset the headset.
- You will need to re-pair the headset with your mobile device.
It is important to delete/forget the pairing from the Bluetooth menu of your previously paired device.
