Jabra Evolve 65 TE: An Overview
2.1 Stereo model

Usage
3.1 Wearing in the left or right ear
The Jabra Evolve 65 TE headset can be worn in the left or right ear by rotating the microphone to the other side (270-degree limit). Do not rotate the microphone more than 270 degrees to prevent it from breaking or being damaged.

3.2 Adjusting the headband
Adjust the headband for the best possible wearing comfort.

3.3 Positioning the microphone
It is recommended to position the microphone close to your mouth (approx. 1 cm).
The microphone can be bent according to personal preference.

Charging the battery
The headset battery charges when the headset is connected to a computer via USB cable or when using a USB charger that came with your mobile device.
The headset can still be used for calls while charging via the USB cable connected to the computer.
Charging the battery fully takes approximately two hours.

4.1 Power saving mode
When the headset is on but not in use, it automatically enters sleep mode after 15 minutes to save battery power. You can manually exit power saving mode by pressing any button on the headset.
After 24 hours in power saving mode, the headset turns off completely. You can turn the headset back on by moving the On/Off/Pairing switch from the On position to the Off position, and then back to On.
Power saving mode is enabled by default and can be disabled using the Jabra Direct application.
Connecting
5.1 Connecting to a computer (with Jabra Link 390)
1. Ensure the headset is turned on.
2. Connect the Jabra Link 390 adapter to a USB port on your computer. The headset and Jabra Link 390 are already paired.

It is recommended to update the headset firmware before first use using the Jabra Direct or Jabra Sound+ application.
SAFETY NOTICE: Data transfer between the headset and USB devices or ports is not encrypted.
5.2 Connecting to a mobile device (via Bluetooth)
1. Put the headset on.
2. Press and hold the On/Off/Pairing switch in the Pairing position (for 3 seconds) until you hear voice prompts. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash blue.
3. Follow the voice prompts for the pairing process.

SAFETY NOTICE: The headset uses a secure Bluetooth connection, encrypted with a 128-bit encryption key. If your Bluetooth device does not support secure connections, it may not be able to pair or connect to the headset.
5.3 Connecting to a computer (via USB cable)
1. Ensure the headset is turned on.
2. Connect the headset to a USB port on your computer using the supplied USB cable.

Usage
7.1 Daily use
Function | How to do it |

7.2 Managing multiple calls
The headset can receive and handle multiple calls simultaneously.
Function | How to do it |

End current call and answer incoming call | Press the Multi-function button. |
Switch between a call on hold and an active call | Press and hold the Multi-function button (2 seconds). |
Put an ongoing call on hold and answer an incoming call | Press and hold the Multi-function button (2 seconds). |
Reject an incoming call when a call is ongoing | Press the Multi-function button twice. |

7.3 Busylight
The headset's Busy light can be activated to indicate to others that you are busy.
MANUALLY TURNING THE BUSY LIGHT ON / OFF
To manually turn the Busy light on or off, press the Volume up (Volume increase) and Volume down (Volume decrease) buttons simultaneously.
ENABLING / DISABLING BUSY LIGHT FUNCTIONALITY
To enable or disable the Busy light functionality, press and hold the Volume up (Volume increase) and Volume down (Volume decrease) buttons simultaneously (3 s).

7.4 Using the travel pouch
When transporting the headset from one place to another, it is recommended to use the travel pouch to prevent damage.

Software and firmware
8.1 Jabra Direct
Jabra Direct is a computer application designed to support, manage, and enable optimal performance of your Jabra devices.
Download the latest free version from jabra.com/direct
8.2 Firmware update
It is recommended to update the headset firmware before first use using the Jabra Direct application.
Firmware updates improve the functionality of Jabra devices or add new features.
1. Connect the Jabra Evolve 65 TE to your computer.
2. Use the Jabra Direct application to check for the latest firmware updates.
8.3 Headset reset
Resetting the headset clears the pairing list and all settings.
1. Reset the headset by pressing and holding the Volume up button, then pressing the Multi-function button.

2. The headset must be re-paired with the mobile device.
It is important to remove/forget the pairing from the Bluetooth menu of the previously paired device.

9.2 Caring for your headset
- Always store the headset with the power off and well protected.
- Avoid storage in extreme temperatures (above 50 °C or below -10 °C). This can shorten battery life and may negatively affect headset performance.
