How to Wear the Product
3.1 Wear on Left or Right
The Jabra Evolve 65 TE can be worn on the left or right by rotating the microphone to the other side (270° max). Do not rotate the microphone more than 270°, to avoid damaging it.

3.2 Adjust the Headband
Adjust the headband until it fits as comfortably as possible.

3.3 Position the Microphone
It is recommended to position the microphone close to your mouth (a few cm away). The microphone can be bent as desired.

SAFETY INFORMATION: Microphones can potentially be used to record private conversations.
Charging the Battery
The headset battery charges when the headset is connected to a computer via USB cable, or when using a USB charger that came with your mobile device. The headset can still be used for calls while charging via USB cable connected to a computer. It takes approximately two hours to charge the battery.

4.1 Sleep Mode
When the headset is turned on and not in use, it automatically enters sleep mode after 15 minutes to save battery. To manually exit sleep mode, press any button on the headset. After 24 hours in sleep mode, the headset will turn off completely. To turn the headset back on, move the On/off/connect button from On to Off and then back to On. Sleep mode is enabled by default and can be disabled via Jabra Direct.
Connecting the Product
5.1 Connect to Computer (via Jabra Link 390)
- Ensure the headset is on.
- Connect the Jabra Link 390 USB adapter to a USB port on your computer. The headset and Jabra Link 390 are pre-connected.

Before first use, it is recommended to update the headset to the latest firmware with Jabra Direct or Jabra Sound+.
SAFETY INFORMATION: No encryption is used for data exchange between the headset and USB devices or ports.
5.2 Connect to a Mobile Device (via Bluetooth)
- Put on the headset.
- Hold the On/off/connect button in the connection position for three seconds until you hear voice prompts. The Bluetooth indicator will flash blue.
- Follow the voice prompts to connect.

SAFETY INFORMATION: The headset uses a secure Bluetooth connection with a 128-bit encryption key. If your Bluetooth device does not support secure connections, it will not be able to pair with or connect to the headset.
5.3 Connect to Computer (via USB Cable)
- Ensure the headset is on.
- Connect the headset to a USB port on your computer using the included USB cable.

7.1 Daily Functions

7.2 Handling Multiple Calls
The headset can receive and handle multiple calls simultaneously.

7.3 Busylight
The Busylight indicator on the headset can be turned on to show others that you are busy.
TURN BUSYLIGHT ON/OFF MANUALLY
Turn Busylight on/off manually by pressing the Volume up and Volume down buttons simultaneously.
ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE BUSYLIGHT FUNCTION
To activate/deactivate the Busylight function, hold the Volume up and Volume down buttons simultaneously for three seconds.
7.4 Using the Travel Case
It is recommended to use the travel case when transporting the headset from place to place to avoid damage.
1. Fold the earcups inwards.
2. Place the headset into the travel case.

The earcups can only be rotated in one direction. Do not rotate the earcups in the opposite direction, to avoid damaging the headset.
Software and Firmware
8.1 Jabra Direct
Jabra Direct is a computer program designed to support, manage, and enable optimal functionality for Jabra devices. Download the latest version for free from jabra.com/direct.
8.2 Update Firmware
Before first use, it is recommended to update the headset to the latest firmware with Jabra Direct. Firmware updates improve performance or add new features to Jabra devices.
- Connect the Jabra Evolve 65 TE to a computer.
- Use Jabra Direct to search for the latest firmware updates.
8.3 Reset Headset
When you reset the headset, the list of paired devices is cleared, and all settings are reset.
- Hold the Volume up button and then press the Multifunction button to reset the headset.

2. The headset must be paired with the mobile device again. It is important to remove/forget the pairing in the Bluetooth menu of the previously paired device.

9.2 How to Care for Your Headset
- Always store the headset turned off and well protected.
- Avoid storage in extreme temperatures (above 50°C or below -10°C). This can shorten the battery life and negatively affect the headset.
