The ProtectONE® TA 2V BI is a smoke extraction unit rated F400-120, designed for tertiary and industrial applications. It features a belt-driven centrifugal impeller and the exclusive ProtectONE® Adapt system for easy airflow adjustment.

Operational Principle
Upon command from the fire safety system (CMSI), the ProtectONE® T unit is activated in smoke extraction mode via the relay control unit. The control unit then switches the unit to 'fault' mode and subsequently to 'standby' mode.

Installation & Implementation
- Can be installed indoors or outdoors.
- For indoor installation, thermal-acoustic insulation (EN 12101-3) is recommended.
- For outdoor installation, a rain guard + grille is required.
- Proximity switch is supplied pre-mounted and wired with position contacts.

Performance Curves
The performance curves illustrate the relationship between airflow (Q) and total pressure (Ptot) for different motor power ratings (1.1 kW, 1.5 kW, 2.2 kW). These curves are based on NF EN ISO 5801 standards for ducted suction and free discharge, with notations for total pressure (Ptot), dynamic pressure at suction (Pd asp.), and pressure gain with ducted discharge (AP rflt. raccordé).
