8. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Common Problems with SMART Device Connection

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Ensure Bluetooth (BT) is turned on and visible to other devices on your phone.
  2. Turn on GPS/Location services.
  3. Install the application and grant necessary permissions during setup (e.g., background running, media access).
  4. Connect the watch through the application.

If Connection Fails:

  1. Verify that GPS is enabled on your phone.
  2. Go to your phone's settings > Apps & notifications > App permissions > enable background running and notifications for the app.
  3. Check if the watch/smart band is already paired with your phone via the phone's Bluetooth menu. If it is, remove the device from the Bluetooth menu and then try connecting through the application again.

2. Why does the watch disconnect when the smartphone screen turns off (Android)?

  1. Background running might be locked.
  2. Enable background running for the app in your phone's settings.

3. Why doesn't the watch display notifications?

  1. Check within the app to ensure the notification function is activated.
  2. Enable the app to display notifications in the phone's application settings. The watch displays notifications from your phone's notification bar; if this function is not active on your phone, you need to enable it in your phone's settings.

4. Why can't you bathe in hot water with the watch?

Steam can enter the device and cause corrosion. The IP67 water resistance rating means the product is suitable for use in rain or for hand washing, but it is not suitable for swimming or diving.

5. What is MET?

MET stands for Metabolic Equivalent, used to assess exercise intensity. One MET is approximately equivalent to 1 kcal per 1 kg of body weight per hour, or 3.5 ml of O2 per kg of body weight per minute at rest. The data presented is an approximation of actual values, as factors such as gender, age, and body composition influence resting energy expenditure.

9. Attention

Consult your doctor before starting any new sport. The measurements provided by the watch are for informational purposes only and are NOT suitable for medical diagnosis.
