8 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. Common problems connecting SMART devices
- Enable Bluetooth (phone must be discoverable by other devices).
- Enable GPS/Location.
- Install the app and grant it necessary permissions during installation (e.g., background operation, multimedia access).
- Connect to the watch via the APP.
If unsuccessful, try the following:
- Check if GPS is enabled.
- In phone settings > Apps & notifications > App permissions: allow background operation and notifications.
- Check if the watch/band is already connected via the phone's Bluetooth menu. If so, go to the Bluetooth menu, select 'forget device', then reconnect through the app.
2. Why does the watch disconnect when the smartphone screen turns off (on Android)?
- Background app operation is restricted.
- Allow background operation.
3. Why doesn't the watch display notifications?
- Check in the app if the notification function is enabled.
- Grant the app permission to display notifications in its settings. The watch displays notifications from the phone's notification bar. If the phone does not have this function enabled, it must be activated in the phone's settings.
4. Why should you avoid hot baths with the watch?
Because water vapor can enter the device, potentially causing corrosion. The IP67 water resistance rating means the product can be used during rain or hand washing, but it is not suitable for swimming and/or diving.
5. What is MET?
MET (Metabolic Equivalent of Task) is used to assess the intensity of physical exertion. One MET is equivalent to resting energy expenditure in a seated position, approximately 1 kcal/kg of body weight/hour, or an oxygen consumption of 3.5 ml O2/kg body weight/min. However, these figures are approximations, as factors like sex, age, and body composition influence resting energy expenditure.
9 Attention
Consult a doctor before starting any new sport. Watch measurements CANNOT be used for medical diagnoses.
