Assembly Process

Follow these steps to assemble your IKEA PAX wardrobe.

Frame Construction

Prepare large panels by inserting shelf supports (101375) and securing them. Attach base supports (100751) to the bottom of the panels. Insert dowels (110618, 110617) and connect panels using screws (101375). Continue connecting main structural panels, inserting additional panels, and securing sections with screws (100229) and dowels (195701). Attach clips (10093081, 10093082) to interior surfaces.

Unit Positioning and Wall Mounting

With assistance, lift and position the assembled wardrobe unit. Measure the desired height for wall mounting (up to +95 5/8" / +244 cm or 0-244 cm). Drill pilot holes (Ø 1/4" / 5 mm) and attach brackets to secure the unit to the wall. Use additional brackets and screws (100644, 100402) for reinforcement. Insert cam locks (10123654) and tighten screws (10080579). Attach 3x panels (10124988) using fasteners. Complete wall anchoring with screws (151706, 151705).

Internal Fittings and Finishing

Insert shelves into the wardrobe at your desired heights, resting them on the installed shelf supports (101558, 115344). Adjust the feet at the base of the wardrobe to ensure it is level and stable. Conceal exposed fasteners by applying cover caps (122972, 115345).

Dimensions

Key dimensions for placement and assembly include 14 1/16 inches (356.3 mm) and 13 3/4 inches (350 mm) for internal spacing or component fit.

Wall mounting height considerations: The unit can be mounted up to +95 5/8 inches (+244 cm) from the floor, or within a range of 0-244 cm.

The approximate overall height of the assembled unit is 92 7/8 inches (236 cm).
