Introduction
Tuya Smart ZigBee Gateway is a central device to connect different ZigBee sub-devices. It also bridges ZigBee devices to a Wi-Fi router.
Offline working: Even if the ZigBee smart gateway disconnects from Wi-Fi, the ZigBee devices connected to the gateway can still communicate with each other. For instance, a ZigBee wireless mini switch can turn on a ZigBee light bulb.
Installation
- It is recommended to place the smart ZigBee gateway at the center of your house so that its signal can cover most of your ZigBee devices. The common connection distance between the gateway and a ZigBee device is 10m to 30m indoors, depending on obstacles.
- The smart ZigBee gateway can add up to 50 ZigBee devices, including light bulbs, smart plugs, light switch sensors, radiator valves, smart locks, and more.
Set up the ZigBee Gateway with Tuya Smart App
- Download and install the app "Fakro smart" or "Tuya app".
- Launch the app "Fakro Smart" or "Tuya smart".
- Create a new account or log in to your existing account.
- Turn on Bluetooth.
- Tap "+" to add the new device.
- The ZTG Gateway will appear on the screen as a "nearby device".
- Register the device to your account.
If you encounter problems adding the device, reset it by pressing the reset button for 5 seconds.
