1. OVERVIEW

Thank you for purchasing the Wireless Ultrasonic Liquid Sensor with Tuya App Display. The ultrasonic level sensor measures the level without contact with the liquid. The sensor sends an ultrasonic signal, which is reflected back from the liquid surface. The fill level can thus be determined. The sensor can be used for oil and water tanks.

Can be used for various liquids, since the ultrasonic sensor does not result in direct liquid contact.
Detect Range: 10cm to 2.5m can measure high tanks.
High and Low liquid alarm function.
Ideal for retrofitting water/oil tanks.
Be able to monitor several tanks in one time.

2. MOUNT THE SENSOR ON THE TANK

The sensor should be in the middle of the tank and not on a liquid inlet. This can falsify the measurement result. Please refer to the following pictures for the best installation positions. The hole should be 72mm.

3. CONNECTION

Download "TUYA Smart APP" or "Smart Life APP" directly in the app store of mobile devices.
Open the TUYA app on your phone, click on the [+] [Add Icon] in the upper right corner, and choose "Gateway Control". Then select "Wireless Gateway (Zigbee)", "Wireless Gateway (Bluetooth)", or "Multi-Mode Gateway (BLE+Zigbee)". The gateway to be added will automatically appear, and please follow the instructions in the App.
Power for sensor: LED and button on sensor.
- Red LED on/off: Power.
- Green LED on/off: Wi-Fi connection indicator. Press the button for 5s to connect Wi-Fi.
- Blue LED on/off: Mobile connection indicator.

Note: WIFI frequency can only be 2.4GHz, not 5GHz.

When adding a device, make sure that the sensor and the mobile are connected to the same Wi-Fi. After setting, the sensors must work under Wi-Fi. If the mobile phone can't find the device or fails to connect the device, please click the PCB button twice to add the device again.

If connect Gateway failed, try long press "reset" button [⚙️], or re-power for Gateway.

4. SETTING

Set Installation height [⬆️]: It is the distance from the sensor to the tank bottom.
Set sensor to liquid full line [?]: It is the distance from the sensor to the full line.
Set Max for full level alarm.
Set Min for low level alarm.

Note: The installation height is different from the tank height because the sensor may be installed above the tank height.

Set Alarm: Go back to the home page, click "Scenes" [✨].

5. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

In particular, the product must not be used in the following cases and for the following purposes:

Potentially explosive environment: When operating in potentially explosive areas, sparking can lead to deflagration, fire, or explosions.
Use as a safety device: The product does not replace the function of a limit indicator on the heating oil tank.
Use with aggressive liquids.
Use as overfill protection.
Use for billing purposes (the product is not calibrated).
In connection with products that directly or indirectly serve human, health, or life-saving purposes, or the operation of which may pose a risk to people, animals, or property.
