Installation Steps
Step 1: Connect the WiFi Mini Adapter
Connect the devolo Magic WiFi mini adapter to a free wall socket. Wait until the LED quickly flashes white (approx. 1 minute). ⏱️

Step 2: Note the WiFi Key
Make a note of the Wi-Fi key found on the back of the devolo Magic WiFi mini adapter. This key is essential for connecting your devices.

Step 3: Connect the LAN Adapter
Connect the second devolo Magic adapter (the LAN adapter) to a free socket and connect it to your router using the enclosed LAN cable.

Step 4: Automatic Encryption
The encryption process takes place automatically. During this time, the LEDs of both adapters flash white. This ensures a secure connection between your adapters.

Step 5: Process Completion
The process is complete as soon as all of the LEDs on the devices light up solid white. This typically takes a maximum of 3 minutes. ✔️

Step 6: Wi-Fi Setup
Set up the Wi-Fi connection on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. The basic installation process is now complete.

Step 7: Optional Mesh Technology
For enhanced coverage, use Mesh technology to connect all devolo Magic adapters and your router to a contiguous network. This allows seamless internet access with the strongest connection anywhere in the house.
To enable Mesh, press a button once to transfer Wi-Fi access data from the router to the devolo Magic WiFi mini adapter. This provides optimal Wi-Fi coverage in every room.

Step 8: Initial Setup Near Router
For the initial setup, connect the devolo Magic WiFi mini adapter to a free wall socket near your router (maximum distance of 10 meters). Wait approximately 1 minute until the LED lights up white. ? 1 min ✔️

Step 9: WPS Pairing
Briefly press the button on your devolo Magic WiFi mini adapter. The LED will flash white. Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router. Consult your router's manual for the exact duration required for the button press.

Step 10: Successful Pairing
Once the LED lights up solid white, the pairing process has been completed successfully.

Step 11: Final Placement
You can now disconnect your devolo Magic WiFi mini adapter and place it in your preferred location. The devolo Magic adapters ensure seamless internet access anywhere in the house with the strongest possible connection.
