Your Dishwasher

Install the dishwasher as described in the Installation chapter. Press the power button. For optimal dishwashing results, select the appropriate settings the first time the dishwasher is switched on. Refer to the "Before washing for the first time" chapter.

Control Panel Overview:

Information on the display:

NOTE: The control panel only responds when the dishwasher door is closed.

Safety Instructions

WARNING! Knives and pointed items should be placed horizontally in the cutlery basket.

WARNING! Children must be supervised; dishwasher detergent is corrosive.

Before Washing for the First Time

1. Water Hardness

For optimal results, use soft water. Hard water can leave a white coating. Check your local water hardness and adjust the water softener settings accordingly. Refer to the table for recommended settings.

°dH °fH °eH mmol/l Recommended setting
0-5 0-9 0-6 0.0-0.9 4:00
6-8 10-14 7-10 1.0-1.4 4:01
9-11 15-20 11-14 1.5-2.0 4:02
12-14 21-25 15-18 2.1-2.5 4:03
15-19 26-34 19-24 2.6-3.4 4:04
20-24 35-43 25-30 3.5-4.3 4:05
25-29 44-52 31-36 4.4-5.2 4:06
30-39 53-70 37-49 5.3-7.0 4:07
40-49 71-88 50-61 7.1-8.8 4:08
50 89 62 8.9 4:09

If water hardness exceeds 50°dH, an external water softener is recommended.

Increased consumption during regeneration: The dishwasher's water softener regenerates automatically, which increases energy and water consumption. The frequency depends on the selected setting.

WARNING! Select the correct water softener setting to prevent white coating on dishes. Never run the dishwasher with an empty salt compartment if water hardness exceeds 5°dH.

2. Basic Settings

Set up the following:

3. Top up with Rinse Aid

Rinse aid improves drying and results in spotless dishes. Top up the rinse aid compartment when the indicator light is on.

  1. Open the rinse aid compartment lid.
  2. Fill to the MAX level.
  3. Wipe away any spills.
  4. Close the lid firmly.

4. Top up with Salt

For water hardness above 5°dH, fill the salt compartment with special dishwasher salt. Top up when the salt indicator light is on.

  1. Remove the salt compartment lid.
  2. Insert the funnel and fill with about 1 liter of water (only for the first time).
  3. Add salt (max. 750g).
  4. Wipe away excess salt and close the lid.

WARNING! Start a program immediately after adding salt to prevent rust stains.

Greener Dishwashing

Save energy and water by:

NOTE! Do not exceed the permitted water supply temperature, as some cookware may not withstand high heat.

Loading the Dishwasher

Load dishes carefully for optimal washing, drying, energy, and water efficiency.

The Dishwasher's Baskets: The dishwasher includes a top cutlery tray, an upper basket, and a lower basket. Basket appearance may vary.

WARNING! Be careful with fully loaded baskets; push them in to avoid tipping.

Top Cutlery Tray:

Designed for cutlery, ladles, whisks, and serving items. It has three parts that can be adjusted sideways.

Upper Basket:

Place glasses, cups, bowls, side plates, and saucers here. Wine glasses fit on the glass shelf, and knives in the knife stand. Ensure all dirty surfaces face inwards and downwards.

Raising and Lowering the Upper Basket:

  1. Pull out the upper basket.
  2. Lift the basket using both hands.
  3. The basket will drop to the bottom position if raised to the top. Ensure both sides are at the same height.

Lower Basket:

Place plates, side plates, serving dishes, and pots here. Cutlery can be placed in the cutlery holder.

Adjustable Plate Supports: These can be folded down to make loading pots, bowls, and glasses easier.

NOTE! Ensure the spray arms can rotate freely.

Using the Dishwasher

Add Detergent:

Follow detergent packaging instructions. Use detergent and rinse aid doses suitable for soft water. Too much detergent can reduce effectiveness and increase environmental impact.

Detergent Compartment: Must be dry when adding detergent.

NOTE! Use only dishwasher detergent. Washing-up liquid can cause excessive foam and operational issues.

All-in-One Detergent: Activate the TAB setting if using all-in-one detergent with rinse aid. Dishwasher tablets are not recommended for short programs (under 75 minutes).

NOTE! Optimal results are achieved with normal detergent, separate rinse aid, and salt.

Select Program:

Choose a program based on the type and soiling of the dishes. Eco 55° is the default.

Select Option:

NOTE! For best drying, do not close the door before the drying phase is complete and the machine has switched off.

WARNING! Do not block or close the door when it opens automatically, as this may damage the lock mechanism. Wait at least 5 minutes before closing.

Start/Pause/Stop:

Press the button to start the program. The display will count down. To remote start, see ConnectLife chapter.

Stopping or Changing a Program:

Press and hold the button for three seconds to pause. Press and hold for another five seconds to interrupt or change the program. Open the door, add detergent if needed, close the door, select a new program, and press.

Remaining Time:

The display shows the remaining program time, which is updated during the drying phase. This may vary based on water supply temperature, load size, and ambient temperature.

If You Want to Load More Dishes:

Press and hold the button for three seconds to pause. Open the door, add dishes, and close the door. The program will resume. If remotely started, you can monitor and stop the program, but not restart it remotely.

Power Failure:

If power is restored during a program, it will continue. If power is cut during drying, the program is interrupted. For remotely started programs, power restoration resumes the program.

Once the Program Has Finished:

The display shows "End", and a short signal sounds. The dishwasher switches off automatically. Shut off the water tap after each use.

The Best Drying Results:

Unloading the Dishwasher:

Unload the lower basket first to avoid water dripping from the upper basket onto dry dishes.

Installation

Safety Instructions:

WARNING! Turn off the water supply and disconnect power before installation.

Placing the Dishwasher:

The dishwasher can be installed under a worktop or freestanding. Ensure the installation area is firm.

Adjust the Height and Slide into Place:

Adjust the feet to ensure the dishwasher is level. Check that the door opens freely and is centered.

The dishwasher can be installed without its worktop.

Drainage Connection:

The drainage hose can be extended up to 3m (total length max 4.5m). Joints must have a minimum 14mm internal diameter. The hose must discharge at least 350mm above the machine's bottom. Ensure the hose has no kinks and is attached securely with a hose clamp. The hose must not be routed directly to a floor drain. Ensure the sink's water trap is ventilated and the hose is attached at the same height as the underside of the worktop to prevent backflow.

Connection to Water Supply:

Use only the supplied inlet hose. Ensure the water tap is easily accessible for shut-off. After installation, turn on the water tap and check for watertight connections.

NOTE! Do not exceed the permitted water supply temperature.

Electrical Connection:

Match specifications on the serial number plate to the electricity supply. Connect to an earthed socket located outside the installation area. Do not use an extension cord.

Fit the Sound Insulation:

(Only certain models) Install sound insulation as shown in the diagram.

Remove Dishwasher Worktop:

If the worktop is removed, the dishwasher must be enclosed on both sides and under a separate worktop. A brace may be needed if a side is visible.
