Safety and Warning Information

General Safety: Read this manual carefully before installation and first use. Ensure all users are familiar with operation and safety features. Save instructions for future reference. Manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by omission.

Safety for Children and Vulnerable People:

  • EN Standard: Can be used by children aged 8+ and persons with reduced capabilities if supervised or instructed on safe use and hazards. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance by children require supervision.
  • IEC Standard: Not intended for unsupervised use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience. Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance. Keep packaging away from children to prevent suffocation. When discarding, remove the door to prevent entrapment. Make old appliance spring locks unusable.

General Safety Warnings:

  • Intended for household and similar applications (staff kitchens, hotels, B&Bs, catering).
  • Do not store explosive substances (aerosol cans) with flammable propellant.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent, or qualified persons to avoid hazards.
  • Keep ventilation openings clear of obstructions.
  • Do not use mechanical devices to accelerate defrosting other than those recommended.
  • Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
  • Do not use electrical appliances inside food storage compartments unless recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Refrigerant and insulation blowing gas are flammable; dispose of at an authorized waste disposal center. Do not expose to flame.
  • Ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged when positioning the appliance.
  • Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or power supplies at the rear.

Replacing Illuminating Lamps: Lamps must be replaced by a professional. Contact customer helpline if damaged.

Refrigerant: Contains R600a (isobutene), a flammable natural gas. Ensure refrigerant circuit is not damaged. If damaged, avoid open flames, ventilate the room.

Electrical Safety:

  • Do not lengthen the power cord.
  • Ensure the power plug is not crushed or damaged.
  • Ensure access to the main plug.
  • Do not pull the main cable.
  • Do not insert the power plug into a loose socket.
  • Do not operate without the interior lighting lamp cover.
  • Use only with 220~240V/50Hz. Use an automatic voltage regulator if voltage fluctuates significantly. Use a special power socket with a ground wire.

Daily Use:

  • Do not store flammable gases or liquids.
  • Do not operate electrical appliances (ice cream makers, mixers) inside.
  • Unplug by pulling the plug, not the cable.
  • Do not place hot items near plastic components.
  • Not intended for built-in use.
  • Do not place food directly against air outlets.
  • Follow frozen food manufacturer's storage instructions.
  • Do not place carbonated drinks in the freezer compartment.
  • Do not consume frozen food directly from the freezer.
  • Do not overload door racks or crispers.
  • Pack food in bags; store liquids in capped containers.
  • Keep appliance out of direct sunlight and away from naked flames.
  • Handle with care when moving; do not stand on parts.
  • Do not refreeze thawed food.

Care and Cleaning:

  • Switch off and disconnect mains plug before maintenance.
  • Do not use metal objects, steam cleaners, ethereal oils, organic solvents, or abrasive cleansers.
  • Do not use sharp objects to remove frost; use a plastic scraper.

Installing Your New Appliance

Ventilation of Appliance: Maintain good ventilation for cooling efficiency and energy saving. Ensure sufficient clear space around the refrigerator.

Diagram shows required clearances: 50mm from the back to the wall, 100mm from the top, 50mm from the sides to the wall, and sufficient space in front for the door to open 165 degrees.

Stand the appliance in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, rain, frost, and heat sources like stoves or heaters.

Leveling of Appliance: Adjust bottom feet manually or with a spanner for leveling and air circulation. Tilt the appliance back about 10-15mm by turning adjustable feet to allow doors to self-close. Turn feet back up to move the appliance.

Warning: Place on a level, hard surface strong enough to support a fully loaded refrigerator. Rollers are for forward/backward movement only.

Door Removal (if needed):

Warning: Disconnect power before removing doors. Reconnect ground wire before operating.

Tools required: Allen Wrench (5/32'', 4mm), Wrench (5/16'', 8mm), Philips Screwdriver.

  1. Remove top covers (1) with Philips screwdriver.
  2. Remove screws (2) from upper hinges and ground screw (3). Remove upper hinges (4).
  3. Open door more than 90°, lift and remove it.
  4. Remove screws (5) from middle hinges with an allen wrench. Remove middle hinges (6).

Re-assembling the doors: Assemble parts in reverse order.

Note: Product may differ slightly due to continuous development, but functions remain the same. Place shelves and drawers in original positions for best energy efficiency.

The control panel allows operation of various functions.

Operation Notes: Control panel lights up when door is open or a button is touched. Setting high temperatures accelerates food decomposition. Recommended initial settings: Fridge 4°C (39°F), Freezer -18°C (0°F), My Fresh Choice -7°C (19°F).

Switching Celsius and Fahrenheit: Press ◀️ or ▶️ until ?️ indicator blinks. Press ✔️ to confirm. Press ✔️ repeatedly to toggle between °C and °F.

Fridge Temperature Control: Press ◀️ or ▶️ until ? (Fridge) icon blinks. Press ✔️ to confirm. Cycle through settings from 8°C to 2°C (or 46°F to 36°F).

Freezer Temperature Control: Press ◀️ or ▶️ until ❄️ (Freezer) icon blinks. Press ✔️ to confirm. Cycle through settings from -14°C to -24°C (or 7°F to -11°F).

My Fresh Choice Temperature Control: Press ◀️ or ▶️ until ? (My Fresh Choice) icon blinks. Press ✔️ to confirm. Cycle through settings from 5°C to -18°C (or 41°F to 0°F).

Super Cool: Lowers fridge temperature to 2°C (36°F) for rapid cooling. Press ◀️ or ▶️ until ❄️? icon blinks, then press ✔️ to turn on/off. Automatically turns off after 6 hours.

Super Freeze: Lowers freezer temperature to -24°C (-11°F) for faster freezing. Press ◀️ or ▶️ until ❄️❄️ icon blinks, then press ✔️ to turn on/off. Automatically turns off after 52 hours.

Caution: Do not store bottled or canned drinks (especially carbonated) in the freezer when Super Freeze is active, as they may explode.

Eco: Energy-saving mode. Press ◀️ or ▶️ until ? icon blinks, then press ✔️ to turn on/off. When Eco is on, fridge is 6°C (43°F) and freezer is -17°C (1°F).

Door Open Alarm: If a door is open for over 2 minutes, "dr" displays, ?⚠️ icon blinks, and a buzzer sounds. Press and hold ◀️ and ▶️ for 3 seconds to silence the buzzer temporarily (?⚠️ icon lights). Buzzer stops when door is closed.

Demo Mode: For store display; prevents cooling. Temperature area shows " ". To exit, press and hold ◀️ and ▶️ for 5 seconds. Demo Mode persists through power cycles.

Connecting Your Refrigerator to Wi-Fi

Use the ConnectLife app to communicate with your smart appliance.

Installation: Download and install the "ConnectLife" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can also scan a QR code (not provided) with your smartphone.

Note: The appliance supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks only. The Wi-Fi network SSID must be visible. Network performance can be affected by the surrounding wireless environment.

Connecting:

  1. Activate the control panel by pressing any button.
  2. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button (represented by ?) for 3 seconds until a beep is heard and the ? light blinks. The appliance enters pairing mode for 5 minutes.
  3. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Open the ConnectLife app. A pop-up for a new appliance should appear. Tap to proceed or tap "Add appliance" / "+" and select "Refrigerator".
  4. Follow the in-app instructions to connect. A solid ? light indicates a successful connection.

To factory reset network settings, press and hold the Wi-Fi button for 6 seconds until two beeps are heard.

Using Your Appliance

Door Rack: Suitable for canned liquids, bottled drinks, and packed food. Do not overload with heavy items.

Shelves: Removable for cleaning.

Crisper: For vegetables and fruit. Remove by pulling out level, tipping up, and lifting. Reinstall in reverse.

Drawers (Freezer/Convertible Compartment): For frozen foods (meat, ice). The convertible compartment can be set to positive or negative temperatures. Drawer removal is similar to the crisper.

Caution: Never close the door while drawers are extended. Ensure drink bottles are not left in the freezer for too long to prevent breakage.

Cleaning and Care

Clean the appliance (interior and accessories) regularly, at least every two months, for hygiene.

Warning: Disconnect the appliance from the mains during cleaning to avoid electric shock.

Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the digital and display panels with a clean, soft cloth. Spray water onto the cloth, not directly onto the appliance. Clean doors, handles, and cabinet surfaces with a mild detergent and dry with a soft cloth.

Warning: Do not use sharp objects, thinner, car detergent, Clorox, ethereal oil, abrasive cleansers, or organic solvents like Benzene.

Interior Cleaning: Clean with a weak solution of bicarbonate of soda, then rinse with warm water and a wrung-out sponge or cloth. Wipe dry thoroughly before replacing parts.

Defrosting: The appliance defrosts automatically. If frost builds up, remove food and accessories, unplug, leave doors open, and ventilate the room. Clean after defrosting. Ensure the interior is completely dry before switching back on.

Warning: Do not use sharp objects to remove frost.

Door Seals Cleaning: Clean seals with mild detergent and warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Replacing the LED Light:

  1. Unplug the appliance.
  2. Carefully pry off the lampshade using a thin blade.
  3. Detach the LED light by pressing its elastic snap with a screwdriver and pulling the connecting terminal.
  4. Replace the LED light and reinstall the lampshade.

Note: This product contains a light source of energy efficiency class G. Warning: LED light should be replaced by a professional.

Helpful Hints and Tips

Energy Saving Tips:

  • Avoid keeping the door open for long periods.
  • Ensure the appliance is away from heat sources (sunlight, ovens).
  • Do not set the temperature colder than necessary.
  • Do not store warm food or evaporating liquid.
  • Place the appliance in a well-ventilated, humidity-free room.
  • Do not adjust the combination of drawers, crispers, and shelves from the designed energy-efficient configuration.

Hints for Fresh Food Refrigeration:

  • Do not place hot food directly into the refrigerator.
  • Cover or wrap food, especially strong-flavored items.
  • Place food to allow air circulation.

Hints for Frozen Food Refrigeration:

  • Ensure frozen food is stored correctly by the retailer.
  • Do not refreeze defrosted food.
  • Adhere to food manufacturer's storage periods.

Hints for Refrigeration:

  • Meat (All Types): Wrap and place on glass shelf above vegetable drawer. Follow storage times.
  • Cooked food, cold dishes: Cover and place on any shelf.
  • Fruit and vegetables: Store in the special drawer.
  • Butter and cheese: Wrap in airtight foil or plastic film.
  • Milk bottles: Store in door racks with lids.

Hints for Freezing:

  • When first starting or after a period of disuse, let the appliance run for 2 hours on higher settings before adding food.
  • Prepare food in small portions for rapid freezing.
  • Wrap food in airtight materials.
  • Do not let fresh food touch already frozen food.
  • Label and date each frozen package.

Switching Off Your Appliance: For extended periods, remove all food, unplug, clean and dry the interior thoroughly, and leave doors slightly open for air circulation to prevent mold.

Troubleshooting

Perform these checks before calling for service.

Warning: Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Contact a qualified electrician or service technician if the problem persists.

Normal Operation: The freezer may not operate during defrost cycles or shortly after switching on to protect the compressor.

Common Issues:

  • Appliance not operating: Check power connection, fuse, and circuit breaker.
  • Noisy operation: Ensure the appliance is level. Check if components are touching the back wall.
  • Water drips on the floor: Ensure the water pan is level and the draining spout is correctly positioned. Check if the water spout is blocked. If the appliance was powered off for a long time, melted ice may cause water on the floor.
  • Unable to connect to Wi-Fi: Verify Wi-Fi password. Ensure router is 2.4GHz. Move router closer or use a Wi-Fi extender if the signal is weak.

Disposal of the Appliance

Do not dispose of as household waste. Packaging materials with the recycle symbol are recyclable. Dispose of packaging in suitable collection containers.

Before Disposal: Pull out the mains plug, cut off the power cord, and discard with the plug.

Warning: Refrigerant and gases must be disposed of professionally to prevent eye injuries or ignition. Ensure refrigerant circuit tubing is not damaged.

Correct Disposal: This marking indicates the product should not be disposed of with household waste throughout the EU. Recycle responsibly to promote sustainable reuse of material resources. Use return and collection systems or contact the retailer.

Suggestion of Using the Appliance

To avoid food contamination, follow these instructions:

  • Opening the door for long periods increases compartment temperature.
  • Regularly clean surfaces that contact food and accessible drainage systems.
  • Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers to prevent dripping onto other food.
  • Two-star frozen-food compartments are for pre-frozen food, ice cream, and ice cubes. One-, two-, and three-star compartments are not suitable for freezing fresh food.
