1. Initial Setup: Auto-Connect Earbuds
Press and hold both buttons for 3+ seconds to power on.
The left earbud will light up white, and the right earbud will flash blue/white, indicating it is ready to pair with your device.

2. Connect via BLUETOOTH
On your device settings, select 'JLab JBuds Air'. Connection is complete when you hear two beeps and the right earbud lights up solid white.

Setting up / Adding a New BLUETOOTH Device:
Turn off Bluetooth on previously connected devices. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. When you remove the earbuds from the case, they will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select 'JLab JBuds Air' in your device settings to connect.
Button Functions
Left Earbud
- Single tap: Decrease Volume
- Double tap: Activate SIRI (iOS) or OK GOOGLE (ANDROID)
- Press and hold for 1 second: Previous Track
- Press and hold for 2 seconds: Power On
- Press and hold for 5 seconds: Power Off
- Triple tap: EQ Setting
Right Earbud
- Single tap: Increase Volume
- Single tap (during call): Answer/End Call
- Double tap: Play/Pause
- Press and hold for 1 second: Next Track
- Press and hold for 2 seconds: Power On
- Press and hold for 5 seconds: Power Off
- Triple tap: EQ Setting
Sound Prompts
- Power On: Chime
- Bluetooth Connection: Two Beeps
- Low Battery: "Low Battery" (below 20%)
- Power Off: Chime
Custom EQ3 Sound
Tap the EQ setting three times on either the left or right earbud to cycle through the EQ settings. (3 EQ settings will cycle in order).
- JLab SIGNATURE (1 beep): Emphasizes vocals and bass for JLab C3™ signature sound.
- BALANCED (2 beeps): Balanced sound.
- BASS BOOST (3 beeps): Emphasizes bass and sub-bass.
Charging the Earbuds
1. Align the 'L' and 'R' markings on the earbuds with the corresponding markings in the charging case for proper charging.
The earbuds will automatically turn off and begin charging.
The blue light indicates the earbuds are charging; it will turn off when charging is complete.

Charging Case
Connect the JBuds Air to a computer or USB 5V 1A (or lower) power source.
The charging indicator will blink white while charging and turn solid white when fully charged.

When removed from the case, the earbuds will automatically power on and reconnect to your device.
Fitting
Adjust the position of the cushion fins and ear tips to ensure a snug fit without sound leakage.

Ensure the cushion fins do not block the microphone port.

Troubleshooting: No Audio from Left Earbud / Left and Right Earbuds Not Connecting (Manual Reset)
- On your device settings, delete 'JLab JBuds Air'.
- Open the charging case cover and keep both earbuds inside. Start with one earbud. Press the button 4 times quickly. The light will flash blue 4 times, then turn solid blue when charging is complete. Keep the earbud in the charging case.
- Repeat the same procedure for the other earbud. Press the button 4 times quickly. The light will flash blue 4 times, then turn solid blue when charging is complete.
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case and place them about 2 inches / 5 cm apart from each other. Wait until the left earbud lights up white and the right earbud flashes blue/white. They are now ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.

Troubleshooting: BLUETOOTH Device Not Connecting / Reconnecting
- On your device settings, delete 'JLab JBuds Air'.
- Turn Bluetooth off and then on again in your device settings.
- Remove the earbuds from the case. Wait for the left earbud to light up white and the right earbud to flash blue/white.
- Select 'JLab JBuds Air' in your device settings to reconnect.

Call Echo / Microphone Quality
If you experience microphone echo or reduced call quality with JBuds Air, ensure the cushion fins are not blocking the microphone port.

Quick Tips
- Bluetooth connects via the right earbud. For the most stable connection, keep your device in your right pocket or on your right side.
- If you wish to use only one earbud, use the right earbud, as it is the primary earbud connected to Bluetooth.
- Choosing the correct ear tip will significantly improve sound quality by eliminating sound leakage. Test all ear tips for the best fit.
- You can only connect to one Bluetooth device at a time. Turn off Bluetooth on any unwanted devices and turn on Bluetooth for the desired device to connect.
Warning
To avoid damaging the charging case, ensure the earbuds are completely dry before placing them in the charging case.
The earbuds are water-resistant, but the charging case is not.
Precautions
- Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
- Do not drop or crush the earbuds.
- Earwax buildup on the earbud tips can reduce sound quality. Carefully clean the earwax with a cotton swab or other small tool to improve sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, lower the volume or discontinue use temporarily.
- If you experience regular discomfort during use, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
- Treat the earbuds with care, like a nice pair of sunglasses, and store them in a safe place when not in use.
