FIRST SETUP
EARPHONES WITH AUTOMATIC CONNECTION
Press and hold both buttons for 3 seconds or longer to turn on the earphones. The left earphone will glow solid white, and the right earphone will blink blue/white, indicating it is ready to connect to your device.
Left Earphone: Press and hold button for 3 seconds or longer.
Right Earphone: Press and hold button for 3 seconds or longer.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
Select "JLab JBuds Air" in your device settings.
Two beeps followed by solid white lights means you have connected the earphones.

ADD NEW / ADDITIONAL BLUETOOTH DEVICES:
Turn off Bluetooth from previously connected devices. Turn on Bluetooth from the new device. Take the earphones out of the case. They will automatically begin pairing via Bluetooth. Select "JLab JBuds Air" in the new device's settings to connect the device.
BUTTON FUNCTIONS
LEFT EARPHONE
- Volume Down: Tap once
- Siri (iOS) or "Ok Google" (Android): Tap twice
- Track Back: Press and hold for 1 second or longer
- Turn On: Press and hold for 2 seconds or longer
- Turn Off: Press and hold for 5 seconds or longer
- Switch EQ Setting: Tap three times
RIGHT EARPHONE
- Volume Up: Tap once
- Answer Call: Tap once
- End Call: Tap twice
- Reject Call: Press and hold for 1 second or longer
- Play/Pause: Tap twice
- Track Forward: Press and hold for 1 second or longer
- Turn On: Press and hold for 2 seconds or longer
- Turn Off: Press and hold for 5 seconds or longer
- Switch EQ Setting: Tap three times
SOUND NOTIFICATIONS
- Power On: Chime
- Bluetooth Connected: Two beeps
- Low Battery: "Low Battery" (less than 20%)
- Power Off: Chime
USER DEFINED EQ3 SOUND SETTINGS
Tap three times on either the right or left earphone to cycle through different EQ settings (JBuds Air will switch between three EQ settings).
- JLab SIGNATURE: JLab C3™ signature sound with boosted vocals and bass
- BALANCED: Balanced sound, no extra sound boosting
- BASS BOOST: Boosted bass and sub-bass
CHARGING THE EARPHONES
- The L and R letters must align with the charging case for proper charging. The earphones will automatically turn OFF and begin charging. Blue lights indicate the earphones are charging and will turn OFF when fully charged.
- The earphones will automatically turn ON and connect to your device as soon as they are removed from the case.
CHARGING CASE
Connect JBuds Air to a computer or a USB charger with a 5V 1A output (or lower).
LED lights will blink white when the earphones are charging and turn solid white when fully charged.
CUSTOMIZATION
Try all the optional Cush Fins and ear tips to ensure the best fit and seal.

TROUBLESHOOTING
NO SOUND IN LEFT EARPHONE, OR EARPHONES DISCONNECT FROM EACH OTHER (MANUAL RESET)
- Go to your device's Bluetooth settings and delete the connection to JBuds Air.
- Open the charging case lid and leave both earphones in the case. Start with ONE earphone, tap the button four times quickly. The light will blink blue four times, then turn solid blue. Leave the earphones in the charging case.
- Repeat with the other earphone. Tap the button four times quickly. The light will blink blue four times, then turn solid blue.
- Take the earphones out of the charging case and hold them about five cm apart. Wait for the left earphone to turn solid white and the right to blink blue and white. You can now connect them to your Bluetooth device.
BLUETOOTH DEVICE CANNOT CONNECT OR RECONNECT
- Go to your device's Bluetooth settings and delete the connection to JBuds Air.
- Turn off Bluetooth on your device, then turn it back on.
- Take the earphones out of the case. Wait for the left earphone to turn solid white, and the right to blink blue and white.
- Select "JLab JBuds Air" in device settings to connect the device again.
ECHO ON CALLS
Check that the Cush Fin is not blocking the microphone if you experience echo or poor microphone sound on JBuds Air.

QUICK TIPS
- The Bluetooth connection is established via the right earphone. Keep the device close to your right side or in your right pocket for the most stable connection.
- If you prefer to use only one earphone, use the right one, as it is the one connected to Bluetooth.
- The correct ear tip creates a tight seal with the speaker unit, providing a significant improvement in sound quality. All ear tips should be tried to achieve the best results.
- Only ONE Bluetooth device can be connected at a time. Turn OFF Bluetooth on unwanted devices, and turn ON Bluetooth on the desired device to connect.
WARNING
Dry the earphones completely before placing them in the charging case to avoid damage to the case.
The earphones are sweat and water-resistant, but the case is not.
WARNINGS
- Avoid extreme heat, cold, or humidity.
- Avoid dropping or crushing your earphones.
- Earwax can accumulate in the ear tips and degrade sound quality. Carefully remove wax with a cotton swab or other suitable tool to improve sound quality.
- Try lowering the volume if you experience discomfort or pain, or stop use temporarily.
- If you regularly feel discomfort when using this product, stop using it entirely and consult a doctor.
- We recommend treating your earphones the same way you would treat a pair of expensive sunglasses, storing them in a safe place when not in use.
