Product Description

The Aldes EasyHOME Hygro Premium High Pressure + single-flow hygro-adjustable VMC (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) is specifically designed to meet the requirements of RE2020 in new individual homes. It is an ideal solution for large detached houses (surface area greater than 120 m²) and/or two-story houses, compatible with new builds (RT2012 or RE2020) and renovations.

This system renews the air in the house based on the humidity level detected at the vents. When the air is humid, ventilation openings increase airflow to protect the building from mold. As the air dries, vents close, reducing airflow and saving energy by minimizing the intake of cold air.

While providing excellent results for RT2012 regulatory calculations, it's important to note that this system does not adapt air renewal based on specific pollution linked to CO2 or VOCs. For improved indoor air quality considering these factors, consider the EasyHOME PurAIR system or a double-flow ventilation system.

Model Comparison: EasyHOME Hygro Premium MW vs. MW HP

The primary difference between the VMC EasyHome hygro adjustable Premium MW and HP models lies in the fan:

• MW (Micro watt) version: Features a single rotation speed, suitable for short network installations, typically in single-story houses with the ventilation unit in the attic. Networks should be less than 6 m long, using flexible insulated networks or semi-rigid HDPE sheaths insulated above attic insulation.
• HP (High pressure) version: Offers two pressure levels and two rotation speeds, making it preferable for large, two-story houses with long, winding networks. For these configurations, semi-rigid HDPE networks (with insulation for cold volumes) are recommended. In large house installations, installers must plan for commissioning with manometer measurements of network pressure losses at the vents.

While both models feature low-consumption fan technology, the EasyHOME Hygro Premium HP model consumes more electricity than the Premium MW model. For an F4 house with a bathroom and separate toilet, the HP model consumes 11.9 W-Th-C compared to 7.3 W-Th-C for the MW model, representing approximately 60% higher electricity consumption.
