Function Layout
The Xtrfy M42 Wireless Mouse features a detailed function layout:
- 1: Left click

Instruction
Mouse Instruction:
- Take out the wireless USB Nano receiver from the package.
- Plug the receiver into your computer's USB port.
- Turn on the mouse power by switching the power switch on the bottom of the mouse.
- Wait for the computer installation to finish.
DPI Setting and Indication:
The mouse offers 6 DPI levels: 400-800-1200-1600-3200-4000-7200-19000. Press the setting button on the top of the mouse while the mode switch is in DPI mode to cycle through the DPI levels.
Polling Rate:
The polling rate can be set to 125Hz (red indicator), 500Hz (blue indicator), or 1000Hz (green indicator).
Mode Switch and Setting Function:
- The setting button functions as DPI change when the mode is set to DPI mode.
- The setting button functions as RGB setting when the mode is set to RGB mode.
- The setting button functions as PGDN when the mode is set to PGDN mode.
- Turn the mode switch to Power Off mode to switch off the mouse.
Wired and Wireless Function:
- The mouse switches automatically between wired and wireless modes. When the receiver is plugged into the computer without a cable, it operates in wireless mode.
- Connecting the cable from the computer to the mouse automatically switches it to wired mode.
Low Power and Charging Indication:
- Low Power: When the mouse battery power is low, the red LED will blink, indicating the need to charge the mouse.
- Charging: During charging, the yellow LED will blink. Once the battery is fully charged, the LED will return to its previous normal RGB effect.
Pairing:
Use the pairing tool to pair the mouse and receiver if the connection is lost or if you are using a new receiver.
About Shape Change and Weight Balance Adjustment:
- Unscrew the back cover to change the shape of the back shell.
- Remove the button from the end to change the button.
- Unscrew the battery screw located under the mouse to move the battery forward or backward, adjusting the mouse's balance.

Caution
1. Keep the battery dry.
2. Avoid locating the battery terminals near metallic objects.
3. Do not short-circuit the battery and avoid metallic objects or water coming into the mouse, which could cause a battery short.
4. Use a computer USB and the specified cable to charge the mouse.
