Samsung Upgrade Campaign: Terms and Conditions

This document outlines the detailed terms and conditions for the "Samsung Upgrade" campaign. The campaign allows participants to receive a discount on the purchase price of new Samsung devices when trading in their old devices.

General Information

The campaign is organized by Samsung Electronics Czech and Slovak, s.r.o. Participation is open to individuals aged 18 and over with a permanent residence or delivery address in Slovakia, as well as businesses operating in Slovakia. The campaign runs from May 1, 2025, to July 31, 2025, or until stocks are depleted.

Participants can receive a discount (Zľava) on the purchase price of selected new Samsung devices when trading in an old device. This offer is exclusively available for purchases made on the official Samsung Slovakia website: https://www.samsung.com/sk/. The discount cannot be applied to new, used, or refurbished items.

The campaign applies to the purchase of specific Samsung device models, including vacuum cleaners, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, induction hobs, ovens, microwaves, and smart appliances. A detailed list of eligible SKUs and their corresponding MKT names and discount amounts is provided.

Participation and Discount Conditions

To be eligible for the discount, participants must:

Purchase an eligible Samsung device exclusively from the Samsung Slovakia e-shop (https://www.samsung.com/sk/) within the campaign period (May 1, 2025 - July 31, 2025).
Express their interest in trading in their old device within the shopping cart during the purchase process. This includes selecting the 'Delivery with collection of old appliance - FREE' shipping option.
Provide the necessary details of the old device in the shopping cart form.
Hand over the old device for recycling at the time of delivery of the new device.
Ensure the old device is properly disconnected (from the power supply, water, etc.) and prepared for removal.

The discount will be automatically applied to the purchase price of the new device. If the participant withdraws from the purchase contract or fails to meet the conditions for handing over the old device, the discount will be forfeited, and the full purchase price will be due.

The old device collected is intended for recycling and has no resale value. It cannot be returned to the participant under any circumstances, even if the purchase contract for the new device is canceled.

Participant Obligations

Participants must retain the tax document (receipt or invoice) proving the purchase of the device.
Participants agree to the campaign terms and conditions and the processing of their personal data.
Legal action to claim participation or discounts is excluded.
The organizer reserves the right to replace announced discounts with others of similar type and value and to change the terms and conditions.
The campaign may not be combined with other promotional offers.
The campaign is governed by Slovak law.
