Samsung Upgrade Campaign

General Information

Organizer: Samsung Electronics Czech and Slovak, s.r.o., located at V parku 2323/14, 148 00 Prague 4, Company ID: 28987322, VAT ID: CZ28987322, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. C 158046 (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer").

Participant: Any natural person over 18 years of age with permanent residence or delivery address in the Czech Republic, or any legal entity that is an entrepreneur within the meaning of Section 420 et seq. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Civil Code"), (e.g., self-employed, business company) with a place of business or registered office in the Czech Republic, who meets the participation requirements of the Campaign. Persons under 18 years of age may participate only with the written consent of their legal representative.

Campaign Period: The campaign runs from July 1, 2025, to July 31, 2025, or while stocks last.

Offer: Within the campaign, participants can receive a discount on the purchase price of a new device when trading in their old device (as specified in Article 8 of these rules). This discount applies only to the purchase of selected Samsung device models with the designations listed below, exclusively at https://www.samsung.com/cz/. The discount cannot be applied to goods marked as refurbished, used, or opened.

This campaign (and thus the possibility to claim the discount) applies to the purchase of the following Samsung device models:

(hereinafter referred to as "Devices" or individually as "Device").

Conditions for participation and discount claim (must be met cumulatively):

• The participant must purchase one of the Devices exclusively from the e-shop on the website https://www.samsung.com/cz/.
• Purchasing a Device means concluding a purchase contract for a new Device from the Organizer's distribution according to Article 4 of these rules. The order (or purchase) of a new Device must take place within the period of July 1, 2025, to July 31, 2025, inclusive.
• During the purchase of a new Device, the participant must express interest in handing over (recycling) their old device directly in the shopping cart on the website https://www.samsung.com/cz/. A more detailed description of the process is provided below. By purchasing a Device listed in Article 4 of these rules, filling in the required information about the old device to be collected in the cart during the purchase of a new Device on https://www.samsung.com/cz/, and handing over the old device simultaneously with the delivery of the new Device, the participant will receive a discount on the purchase price of the new Device (valued according to the table below in these rules).
• The participant must be among the buyers on https://www.samsung.com/cz/ who have expressed interest in handing over an old device for recycling in the prescribed manner, subsequently handed over the old device, and fulfilled all obligations stated in these Campaign rules.
• The condition for entitlement to the discount is the purchase of at least one Device listed in Article 4 of these rules. Interest in using the discount can be expressed in the manner specified in Article 5, letter b), only within the period from July 1, 2025, to July 31, 2025, inclusive. If this deadline is not met or other conditions of these rules are not met, the entitlement to the discount does not arise.

Participant and Device Registration for the Campaign

General Information:

• If a participant wishes to use this campaign, they must purchase a Device on https://www.samsung.com/cz/ within the period from July 1, 2025, to July 31, 2025, inclusive. Simultaneously, in the shopping cart, they must express interest in handing over their old device for recycling, by selecting the "Standard delivery with collection of old appliance – FREE" delivery option in the shopping cart, and then hand over the old device together with the delivery of the new Device. Failure to meet this deadline cannot be rectified, and the opportunity to receive the discount will be forfeited.
• The participant's account is created and identified by the personal data of the participant provided when purchasing the Device on https://www.samsung.com/cz/.
• In the form within the shopping cart on https://www.samsung.com/cz/, it is necessary to fill in the parameters of the old device that the participant wishes to hand over. Without this information, the order cannot be completed within this Campaign.
• Simultaneously with the delivery of the purchased Device, the participant must also hand over the old device based on the information provided during the purchase of the new Device on https://www.samsung.com/cz/ and after expressing interest in collecting the old device.
• In this campaign, only a newly purchased Device whose model is listed in Article 4 of these rules can be registered.
• It is established that one participant can claim a maximum of 1 (one) new Device within the campaign, as described in Articles 6) and 7) of these rules (i.e., claim a maximum of one discount).

Registration of Trade-in (Handover) of Old Device on the Website https://www.samsung.com/cz/ and Subsequent Realization of Old Device Handover

• On the website https://www.samsung.com/cz/, in the shopping cart during the purchase of a new Device whose model is listed in Article 4 of these rules, a form is provided where it is necessary to fill in the brand, type, and parameters of the old device to be handed over for the discount claim. The participant also agrees to the processing of personal data in accordance with these rules and confirms that the provided data is truthful in the form of a sworn statement. Subsequently, the "Standard delivery with collection of old appliance – FREE" delivery option must be selected.
• After specifying the old device to be handed over, the participant will see the specific discount amount. The participant must confirm on the website https://www.samsung.com/cz/ in the shopping cart during the purchase of a new Device the method of handing over the old device to the Organizer, which is through free collection by courier simultaneously with the delivery of the newly purchased Device.
• After the order for the new Device is properly completed, the participant will receive information about the next steps via email.
• The Organizer (or the carrier) reserves the right to refuse to accept the old device, particularly, but not exclusively, due to incorrectly entered specifications of the old device in the purchase of the new Device (e.g., a different type of device) or if the old device is not ready for collection at the time of delivery of the new Device. In this regard, the Organizer points out that the old device must be properly disconnected (including disconnection from the power supply and draining of water or erasing all data) and generally prepared for uncomplicated collection.
• The Organizer (and possibly the carrier) is not obliged to send multiple notifications, even if the sent email is intercepted by the recipient's service provider as spam, which the Organizer cannot verify or determine in any way.
• If the participant does not receive a confirmation email from the Organizer, it is recommended to check the SPAM folder of their email – it is possible that the Organizer's message was marked as SPAM by the participant's internet provider or anti-spam system, or by another configured filter. If the participant cannot find the confirmation email, they must immediately contact the Campaign hotline to resolve the issue. The Organizer is not responsible for any expiration of the discount due to non-delivery or loss of the email with the purchase contract, or other delays on the part of the participant, nor for the misuse of the discount due to unauthorized access to the participant's email account by a third party.

Description and Application of the Discount

Description of the Discount:

• By purchasing a Device listed in Article 4 of these rules, expressing interest in handing over their old device for recycling in the shopping cart on the website https://www.samsung.com/cz/, and handing over the old device in accordance with these rules, the participant is entitled to a discount according to Article 8, letter b), provided the conditions set forth in these rules are met.
• Within the campaign, the participant can receive a discount on the purchase price of a new Device according to the attached table, provided the old device is handed over.
• The bonus can be applied in accordance with Articles 5 to 7 of these rules in case of purchasing a Device listed in Article 4 of these rules.

Discount based on the model of the old device handed over (recycled):

After filling in the specifications of the old device in the shopping cart when purchasing a new Device, the discount will be automatically applied to the purchase price of the new Device (i.e., the participant will pay the purchase price of the new Device already reduced by the discount).

In the case of a Device purchase by a participant as a consumer within the meaning of Section 1829 of the Civil Code, the right to the discount arises only if the consumer does not exercise their right to withdraw from the purchase contract concluded remotely without stating a reason within the statutory period. The right to the discount also does not arise if the buyer, who is not a consumer, exercises a similar right to withdraw from the contract without stating a reason as stipulated in the seller's terms and conditions.

The condition for obtaining the mentioned discount is the purchase of a new Device, selecting "Standard delivery with collection of old appliance – FREE" delivery, handing over the old device in accordance with these rules and the specifications of the old device provided by the participant during the purchase of the new Device, and fulfilling the other requirements according to these rules.

In the event that the participant exercises their right to withdraw from the purchase contract for the new Device, the participant's purchase price will be refunded minus the discount (i.e., the claim for refund of the purchase price and the claim for refund of the discount will be offset).

In the event that the participant, simultaneously with the delivery of the new Device, fails to fulfill their obligation to hand over their old device to the carrier in accordance with these rules, or if the carrier refuses to accept the old device for justified reasons (see Article 7, letter d) of these rules), the participant has not met the conditions for obtaining the discount. In such a case, the participant is obliged to pay the Organizer (or the carrier) the full purchase price of the new Device before the delivery of the new Device (i.e., the difference representing the discount for which the participant is not entitled for the reasons stated above).

The Organizer points out that the old device handed over to the Organizer within this Campaign for free collection in order to obtain a discount on the purchase price of the new Device is intended for recycling (or ecological disposal) and has no resale value from this perspective. After its handover, the old device cannot be returned to the participant under any circumstances, even if the purchase contract for the new Device is withdrawn. Simultaneously, the participant is not entitled to any compensation or consideration for the old device handed over (except for the entitlement to the discount).

Further Provisions

The participant is obliged to keep the tax document (receipt or invoice) proving the purchase of the Device after the purchase. It is the obligation of every participant to request a tax document from the seller proving the purchase of the Device and containing all necessary details, i.e., the exact date of purchase of the Device and the specification of the Device. Without these details, tax documents will not be considered valid.

The Organizer of the Campaign is authorized, in cases where there is suspicion that the participant has engaged in fraudulent activity to claim the discount within the Campaign, to request further verification to determine the entitlement to the discount. The participant is obliged to provide the requested data or documents within 10 days and in the required format. The Organizer reserves the right to make a final decision in disputed cases as to whether the participant has fulfilled all the rules for participation in the Campaign and reserves the right to deny the entitlement to the discount. In the event that the Organizer has reasonable suspicion of fraudulent activity by the participant for the purpose of claiming the discount within the Campaign, the Organizer has the right to exclude such participant from the Campaign without entitlement to the discount.

By registering, the participant expresses their consent to the rules and conditions of the Campaign and undertakes to fully comply with them. The participant further declares that they have familiarized themselves with the conditions for processing personal data in accordance with these rules.

Claiming participation or discounts in the Campaign through legal channels is excluded.

The results of the Campaign are final, without the possibility of appeal. The Organizer reserves the right to replace the declared discounts with other discounts of a similar type and corresponding value and to change the conditions for awarding discounts.

The Organizer reserves the right, in exceptional and fully justifiable cases, to terminate the Campaign. The Organizer is authorized to change the campaign rules or the technical or organizational security of the Campaign, and in such a case, the change of rules becomes effective from the moment it is published on the campaign website at https://www.samsung.com/cz/. If the participant does not agree with the change of campaign rules, they are entitled to terminate their participation in the Campaign free of charge by a unilateral notification delivered to the Organizer via the website https://www.samsung.com/cz/ or by calling the hotline 800 72 67 86.

This Campaign cannot be combined with other promotional offers (e.g., with promotions for purchasing multiple home appliances).

This Campaign is governed by Czech law.
