Samsung Upgrade Campaign: Detailed Terms and Conditions

General Information

1. Campaign Organizer: Samsung Electronics Czech and Slovak, s.r.o., located at V parku 2323/14, 148 00 Prague 4, Company ID: 28987322, VAT ID: CZ28987322, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. C 158046 (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer" or "Campaign Organizer").
2. Participant: Any natural person over 18 years of age with permanent residence or delivery address in the Czech Republic, or any legal entity that is an entrepreneur within the meaning of Section 420 et seq. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Civil Code"), (e.g., self-employed, business company) with a place of business or registered office in the Czech Republic, who meets the campaign participation requirements. Persons under 18 years of age may participate in the campaign only with the written consent of their legal representative.
3. The campaign runs from 1.5.2025 to 31.7.2025 or until stocks are exhausted.
4. Within the campaign, you can receive a bonus in the form of a discount on the purchase price of a new appliance when trading in your old appliance (as specified in Article 8 of these terms). This discount can only be applied when purchasing selected Samsung appliance models with the designations listed below and purchased exclusively at https://www.samsung.com/cz/. The discount cannot be applied to goods designated as new, used, or opened.

This campaign (and thus the possibility to claim the discount) applies to the purchase of the following Samsung appliance models:

Conditions for Participation in the Campaign and Discount Claim

1. Participant must purchase one of the Appliances, exclusively from the e-shop on the website https://www.samsung.com/cz/.
2. Purchase of an Appliance means the conclusion of a purchase contract for a new Appliance from the Organizer's distribution, as per Article 4 of these terms. The order (or purchase) of a new Appliance must take place between 1.5.2025 and 31.7.2025 inclusive.

When purchasing a new Appliance, the Participant must express interest in handing over (recycling) their old appliance directly in the shopping cart on the website https://www.samsung.com/cz/. A more detailed description of the process is provided below. By purchasing an Appliance listed in Article 4 of these terms, filling in the required information about the old appliance to be collected in the shopping cart when purchasing a new Samsung appliance at https://www.samsung.com/cz/, and handing over the relevant old appliance simultaneously with the delivery of the new appliance, the Participant will receive a discount on the purchase price of the new appliance (with a value according to the table below in these terms).

c) The Participant must be among the buyers on https://www.samsung.com/cz/ who, in the specified manner, expressed interest in handing over the old appliance for recycling, subsequently handed over this old appliance, and fulfilled all obligations specified in these campaign terms.

d) The condition for entitlement to the discount is the purchase of at least one Appliance listed in Article 4 of these terms. The intention to use the discount can be expressed in the manner specified in Article 5, letter b), only during the period from 1.5.2025 to 31.7.2025 inclusive. Failure to meet this deadline or failure to meet the other conditions of these terms will result in the forfeiture of the discount.

Participant and Appliance Registration for the Campaign

General Information:

1. If the Participant wishes to use this Campaign, they must purchase an Appliance on https://www.samsung.com/cz/ between 1.5.2025 and 31.7.2025 inclusive. In the shopping cart, they must express interest in handing over their old appliance for recycling by selecting the Standard Delivery with collection of the old appliance – FREE of charge delivery option, and then hand over the old appliance simultaneously with the delivery of the new appliance. Failure to meet this deadline cannot be rectified, and the opportunity to obtain the discount will be lost.
2. The Participant's account is created and identified by the Participant's personal data provided when purchasing the Appliance on https://www.samsung.com/cz/.
3. In the shopping cart form on https://www.samsung.com/cz/, it is necessary to fill in the details of the old appliance that the Participant wishes to hand over. Without this information, the order cannot be included in this Campaign.
4. Along with the delivery of the purchased Appliance, the Participant must also hand over the old appliance, based on the information provided during the purchase of the new Appliance at https://www.samsung.com/cz/, and after expressing interest in collecting the old appliance.
5. Only a newly purchased Appliance, whose model is listed in Article 4 of these terms, can be registered in this Campaign.
6. It is stipulated that one Participant can claim a maximum of 1 (one) new Appliance within the scope of the Campaign, as described in Articles 6) and 7) of these terms (i.e., claim a maximum of one discount).

Registration of Trade-in (Handover) of Old Appliance on the Website

On the website https://www.samsung.com/cz/, in the shopping cart when purchasing a new Appliance, whose model is listed in Article 4 of these terms, a form is prepared where it is necessary to fill in the brand, type, and parameters of the old appliance that the Participant wishes to hand over to claim the discount. The Participant also agrees to the processing of personal data in accordance with these terms and confirms that the entered data is truthful in the form of a declaration. Subsequently, the Standard Delivery with collection of the old appliance – FREE of charge delivery option is selected.

After specifying the old appliance to be handed over, the Participant will see the specific discount amount. The Participant must confirm on the website https://www.samsung.com/cz/ in the shopping cart when purchasing the new Appliance the method of handing over the old appliance to the Organizer, which is through free collection by courier simultaneously with the delivery of the newly purchased Appliance.

After the order for the new Appliance is properly completed, the Participant will receive information on the next steps via email.

The Organizer (or the carrier) reserves the right to refuse to accept the old appliance, particularly, but not exclusively, due to incorrectly specified details of the old appliance in the purchase of the new appliance (e.g., a different type of appliance) or if the old appliance is not ready for collection at the time of delivery of the new appliance. In this regard, the Organizer points out that the old appliance must be properly disconnected (including disconnection from the power supply and draining of water or erasure of all data) and generally prepared for uncomplicated collection.

The Organizer (or carrier) is not obliged to send multiple reminders, even if the sent email is intercepted by the recipient's service provider as spam, which the Organizer cannot verify or determine in any way.

If the Participant does not receive a confirmation email from the Organizer, it is recommended that they also check their SPAM folder – it is possible that the Organizer's message was marked as SPAM by the Participant's internet provider or an anti-spam system, or by another filter. If the Participant cannot find the confirmation email, they must immediately contact the Campaign hotline, which will resolve the issue. The Campaign Organizer is not responsible for any expiration of the discount due to non-delivery or loss of the purchase contract email, other delays on the Participant's side, or for the misuse of the discount due to unauthorized access to the Participant's email account by a third party.

Description of the Discount

1. By purchasing an Appliance listed in Article 4 of these terms, expressing interest in handing over their old appliance for recycling in the shopping cart on the website https://www.samsung.com/cz/, and handing over the old appliance in accordance with these terms, the Participant is entitled to a discount as per Article 8, letter b), provided the conditions set forth in these terms are met.
2. Within the campaign, the Participant can receive a discount on the purchase price of a new Appliance according to the attached table, provided the old appliance is handed over.

The bonus can be applied in accordance with Articles 5 to 7 of these terms in case of purchase of an Appliance listed in Article 4 of these terms.

Additional Provisions

1. The Participant is obliged to keep the tax document (receipt or invoice) proving the purchase of the Appliance after the purchase. It is the obligation of every Participant to request a tax document from the seller proving the purchase of the Appliance and containing all necessary details, i.e., the exact date of purchase of the Appliance and the specification of the Appliance. Without these details, tax documents will not be considered valid.
2. The Organizer of the Campaign is entitled, in cases where there is suspicion that the Participant has engaged in fraudulent activity to claim the discount within the Campaign, to request further verification to determine the entitlement to the discount. The Participant is obliged to provide the requested data or documents within 10 days and in the requested format. The Organizer reserves the right to finally decide in disputed cases whether the Participant has met or not met all the rules for participation in the Campaign and reserves the right to refuse the discount. In the event that the Organizer has reasonable suspicion of fraudulent activity by the Participant to claim the discount within the Campaign, the Organizer has the right to exclude such Participant from the Campaign without the right to the discount.
3. By registering, the Participant expresses their consent to the terms and conditions of the Campaign and undertakes to fully comply with them. The Participant further declares that they have familiarized themselves with the terms of personal data processing in accordance with these terms.
4. Further information regarding the processing of personal data by the Organizer, including related rights, is available at https://www.samsung.com/cz/
5. Enforcement of participation or discounts in the Campaign through legal channels is excluded.
6. The results of the Campaign are final, without the possibility of appeal. The Organizer reserves the right to replace the declared discounts with other discounts of a similar type and corresponding value and to change the conditions for applying discounts.
7. The complete and accurate rules and registration conditions are available on the website https://www.samsung.com/cz/.
8. The Organizer of the Campaign reserves the right to terminate the Campaign in exceptional and fully justifiable cases. The Organizer is entitled to change the rules of the Campaign or the technical or organizational security of the Campaign, and in such a case, the change in rules becomes effective from the moment it is published on the Campaign website at https://www.samsung.com/cz/. If the Participant does not agree with the change in the Campaign rules, they will be entitled to terminate their participation in the Campaign free of charge by a unilateral notification delivered to the Organizer via the website https://www.samsung.com/cz/ or by calling the hotline 800 72 67 86.
9. This Campaign cannot be combined with other promotional offers (e.g., with promotions on the purchase of multiple home appliances).
10. This Campaign is governed by Czech law.
