What's in the Box
The package contains:
- Smart Wi-Fi LED Downlight
- User Manual
Get Ready
- Ensure you know your Wi-Fi network name and password.
- Make sure your mobile device is running iOS 13.3 or higher and Android 9.0 or higher.
- Connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Lumary devices cannot connect to 5GHz networks.
Attention
Please observe the following safety precautions:
- Handle carefully during transportation.
- Do not disassemble the fixture if you are not a professional.
- The fixture operates under AC high voltage and current. It should be installed in a location that cannot be easily touched. Ensure all connections are completely sealed and earthed.
- The external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged, the luminaire must be destroyed.
- The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person.
- The surface where the fixture is positioned must be firm enough to ensure safety.
- Ensure the voltage of the electricity system is within the working range for the fixture, otherwise, its lifetime will be influenced.
- Installation and maintenance should be operated by a professional.
Prepare: Resetting the Device
To reset the device and understand its blinking light status:
Easy Mode: Press the switch 5 times (turn on-off-on-off-on). The light will flash quickly (2 times per second). This is the primary mode for app connection.
AP Mode: Press the switch 5 times (turn on-off-on-off-on) until the light flashes quickly, then press again (turn on-off-on-off-on) until the light flashes slowly (every 3 seconds). This is a backup mode to help connect.
Connecting the Device
Connect: Easy Mode
Step 1: Open the Lumary App. In the top corner of the Devices screen, click the plus icon (+).
Step 2: Choose "Light Source(BLE+Wi-Fi)". Select "EZ Mode" in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Ensure the light is rapidly flashing white. If not, reset the device to reach Easy Mode. Press "Next" in the App.
Step 4: Enter your Wi-Fi network name and password.
Step 5: The Lumary App will connect to your devices.
Note: Lumary cannot connect to 5GHz networks. If the connection fails, try connecting using AP Mode.
Connect: AP Mode
Step 1: Open the Lumary App. In the top corner of the Devices screen, click the plus icon (+). Choose "Light Source(BLE+Wi-Fi)". Select "AP Mode" in the upper right corner.
Step 2: Make sure the light is slowly flashing white. If not, reset to reach AP mode.
Step 3: Press "Next" and enter your Wi-Fi details.
Step 4: Follow the instructions to choose the device from your Wi-Fi list. This involves connecting your mobile phone to the device's hotspot.
Step 5: The Lumary App will connect to your devices.
Note: Lumary cannot connect to 5GHz networks.
Connect: Bluetooth
Step 1: Open the Lumary App. In the top corner of the Devices screen, click the plus icon (+). Choose "Light Source(BLE+Wi-Fi)". Select "Bluetooth" in the upper right corner.
Step 2: Make sure the light is rapidly flashing white. If not, reset to reach Easy Mode to connect. Press "Next" in the App.
Step 3: Enter your Wi-Fi network and password.

A visual representation shows the device being reset and paired. The app then confirms "Found 1 devices. Added successfully."
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I share with family and friends? Yes, you can share access to your Switch and any other Lumary device via the "Profile" button and "Device Sharing" option in the Lumary App. The other user must have the Lumary App downloaded and an account registered.
- Can I group multiple Lumary devices together? Yes, you can group same-type devices by room, location, or other criteria. From your main device list, select a device, press the ellipsis icon (...) for advanced settings, and click "Create Group" to name and select devices for the group.
- How many devices can I control? The Lumary App can control an unlimited amount of devices in unlimited locations. However, your router may have a limit on the number of devices it can connect.
- My Lumary device has a funny name. How do I rename it? From your main device list, select a device, press the ellipsis icon (...) for advanced settings, and click "Modify Device Name" (or "Modify Group Name") to choose a more familiar name.
- What should I do if the device Appears offline or is unreachable? Ensure your Wi-Fi router is online and in range. Check for the latest Lumary functionality by clicking "Check for firmware update" in your device settings. If the switch is not responding with power connected, hold down the Restart button to cycle the fuse and restart the switch.
- What's the wireless range? The range of your home Wi-Fi is heavily dependent on your home router and room conditions. Consult your router specifications for exact range data.
- If my Wi-Fi internet goes down, will Lumary App still work? Lumary products require a Wi-Fi connection to be used remotely.
- What does the white light mean? The white light indicates power. If it is on, the switch is receiving power; if it is off, it is not receiving power. The white light also indicates connection status: solid white means connected; rapidly flashing white means ready for Easy Mode; slowly flashing white means ready for AP Mode.
- What should I do, when I find a problem with the purchased product? Please email cs@inlintek.com with your Amazon order ID. Lumary is dedicated to ensuring satisfaction and will happily exchange faulty products.
Important Information
Troubleshooting
Cannot connect to your Wi-Fi network: Ensure you entered the correct Wi-Fi password during setup. Check for any internet connection problems. If the Wi-Fi signal is too weak, reset your Wi-Fi router and try again.
Reset the device: To reconnect to Wi-Fi, hold down the reset switch (on-off-on-off-on). Resetting once (on-off-on-off-on) leads to Easy Mode (rapidly blinking white light). Resetting again (on-off-on-off-on until fast blink, then on-off-on-off-on until slow blink) leads to AP Mode (slowly blinking white light).

Voice Control Guide
Name and Control Each Device by Voice
Lumary devices are compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Ensure your devices are set up using the Lumary App first.
Google Assistant
To control your Lumary smart devices, say "OK Google" and then your command.
Example commands:
- "Hey Google, turn on all the lights in my bedroom."
- "Hey Google, turn off the light."
- "Hey Google, set the bedroom light to orange."
- "Hey Google, turn off the coffee machine."
- "Hey Google, set the living room to 50%."
- "Hey Google, dim porch light."
*Some commands require compatible devices.
Linking with Google Assistant
- Open the Google Home App and go to "Home Control" in the menu.
- Tap the plus icon (+).
- Choose "Lumary" from the list of Home Control partners.
- Authorize your account with Google Assistant using your Lumary app username and password.
Your Google Home app and Lumary devices are now linked. You can say "OK Google" to control your Lumary devices.
Note: Please select your region and country.
You can rename your devices in the Lumary app or Google Home app to set nicknames and assign them to rooms. Google Assistant will use these names for control.
Amazon Alexa
To control your Lumary smart devices, just ask Alexa.
Example commands:
- "Alexa, discover my devices."
- "Alexa, turn on the bedroom light."
- "Alexa, set the bedroom light to orange."
- "Alexa, turn off the coffee machine."
- "Alexa, set the living room to 50%."
- "Alexa, dim porch light."
*Some commands require compatible devices.
Enabling Lumary Skill for Alexa (Way 1)
- Log in to the Lumary App, click your smart device, then click the ellipsis icon (...) in the top right corner.
- Click Alexa in Third-party Control.
- Sign in with your Alexa account.
- Click LINK.
Your Lumary account is now linked with Alexa. New devices added to Lumary will be automatically discovered by Alexa.
Enabling Lumary Skill for Alexa (Way 2)
- Open the Alexa App and go to "Skills" in the menu.
- Search for Lumary, then click "Enable".
- Authorize your account with Smart Home Skills using your Lumary App username and password.
Note: Please select your region and country.
Discovering Devices in Alexa
Choose "Discover Devices". After a few seconds, your Lumary devices will be displayed under Smart Home in the Alexa app.
You can rename your devices in the Lumary app, and Alexa will refer to them by the same name. Alternatively, you can create an Alexa group, like "Bedroom" or "Downstairs", and add the device to the group. Alexa will recognize the group name in the Alexa app or the device name in the Lumary app.
