FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

1. What if I don't have internet access to my Lumary product?

If you do not have a network, you will need two mobile phones: one to set up a hotspot, and the other to connect to the hotspot and add the device via the app.

2. If my Wi-Fi internet goes down, will Lumary App still work?

Lumary products require Wi-Fi for remote use. However, devices can still be controlled via LAN or Bluetooth for basic functions like on/off, dimming, and color changes.

3. Why does flickering occur with Lumary products?

Flickering usually indicates the device has not connected to the network. By default, it will flash for three minutes when powered on. Once connected to the network, it will stop flashing and reconnect automatically after being switched off and on via the wall switch (within 15 seconds).

4. Can I share with family and friends?

Yes, you can share access to your Lumary devices. In the Lumary App, select a device, tap the '...' button, and choose 'Share Device' to manage permissions. The other user must have the Lumary App installed and an account registered.

5. Can I group multiple Lumary devices together?

Yes, you can group devices by room, location, or any other criteria. Devices can belong to multiple groups. To create a group, select a device, tap '...', choose 'Create Group', name it, and select other devices to add.

6. How do I rename my Lumary device?

From the main device list, select a device, tap the '...' button for advanced settings, and choose 'Modify Device Name' (or 'Modify Group Name'). You can then enter a more familiar name.

7. What's the wireless range?

The wireless range depends on your home router and room conditions. Consult your router's specifications for exact range data.

8. What should I do if the device appears offline or is unreachable?

Ensure your Wi-Fi router is online and within range. Check for firmware updates in device settings. Try turning off the device, clearing the app cache, rebooting the router, and then turning the device back on after one minute. Check the device status after five minutes.

9. How many devices can I control?

10. What if I find a problem with the purchased product?

Please email support@lumary.tech with your Amazon order ID. Lumary is dedicated to ensuring 100% satisfaction and will assist with exchanges if necessary.
