Read and follow each step of the instruction carefully.

Tools Required

Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, hammer, drill, spirit level, pencil.

Drill bit sizes: Ø 8 mm (5/16"), Ø 3 mm (1/8").

Assembly Steps

Step 1: Attach Drawer Runners to Side Panels

Identify the side panels and the IKEA CL and IKEA CR drawer runners. Attach the runners to the designated positions on the side panels using screws (part 146114).

Step 2: Prepare Panels for Cam Locks

Insert cam lock screws (part 118331) into the pre-drilled holes on the relevant panels.

Step 3: Connect Panels

Join panels by inserting them together and then securing them with cam locks (part 192800) by turning them to lock.

Step 4: Attach Base Supports

Attach the base supports to the bottom of the unit using screws (part 101345).

Step 5: Attach Side Panels to Base

Insert the side panels into the base structure.

Step 6: Secure Side Panels

Secure the side panels to the base using cam locks (part 192800) and cam lock screws (part 119250).

Step 7: Insert Dowel Pins

Insert dowel pins (part 101345) into the designated holes on a panel, likely for the back panel.

Step 8: Slide in Back Panel

Carefully slide the back panel into the grooves provided on the side and base panels.

Step 9: Secure Back Panel

Secure the back panel using cam locks (part 119250) and cam lock screws (part 192800).

Step 10: Attach Vertical Supports

Attach vertical supports to the frame. Use screws (part 105811) and cam locks (part 10100249) to secure them.

Step 11: Attach More Vertical Supports

Attach additional vertical supports using dowels (part 101345).

Step 12: Secure Vertical Supports

Secure these vertical supports using screws (part 100211) and cam locks.

Step 13: Attach Further Vertical Supports

Attach more vertical supports using dowels (part 101345).

Step 14: Secure Further Vertical Supports

Secure these supports with screws (part 100211) and cam locks.

Step 15: Align Frame Components

With assistance from another person, align the frame components for stability.

Step 16: Attach Top Supports

Attach the top supports to the unit using cam locks (part 119250) and cam lock screws (part 192800).

Step 17: Attach Additional Top Supports

Attach more top supports to the structure.

Step 18: Attach Drawer Slides to Frame

Attach the drawer slides to the main frame using screws (part 105811).

Step 19: Secure Drawer Slides

Secure the drawer slides firmly using screws (part 100211).

Step 20: Attach Bottom Supports and Runners

Attach the bottom supports using screws (part 194970) and nuts (part 102553). Attach drawer runners to the frame using screws (parts 144575, 144574).

Step 21: Attach Drawer Runners to Frame

Continue attaching drawer runners to the frame using screws (parts 144574, 144575).

Step 22: Attach Drawer Runners

Attach drawer runners to the frame components using dowels (part 101345).

Step 23: Secure Drawer Runners

Secure the drawer runners to the frame using screws (parts 144574, 144575).

Step 24: Turn Unit

With assistance, carefully turn the partially assembled unit.

Step 25: Attach Top Panel

Place and attach the top panel to the unit using dowels (part 101345).

Step 26: Attach Top Supports

Attach top supports to the unit using dowels (part 101345).

Step 27: Attach Drawer Slides

Attach drawer slides to the unit using screws (part 118331).

Step 28: Slide in Top Panel

Slide the top panel into its final position.

Step 29: Attach Drawer Slides

Secure the drawer slides to the unit using cam locks (part 192800).

Step 30: Attach Drawer Slides

Attach drawer slides to the unit using screws (part 100211).

Step 31: Attach Adjustable Feet

Attach the adjustable feet to the base of the unit, securing them with screws and nuts.

Step 32: Install Drawer Interlock System

Install the drawer interlock mechanism. Ensure it is correctly aligned and secured to prevent tipping when drawers are opened. The system allows only one drawer to be opened at a time.

Step 33: Assemble Wall Mounting Bracket

Assemble the wall mounting bracket components (parts 109049, 106989) using screws (part 100823).

Step 34: Final Check

Perform a final check of all connections and ensure the unit is stable.

Step 35: Wall Mounting

For Solid Walls (A): Drill holes using an Ø 8 mm (5/16") bit. Insert wall plugs and then secure the bracket with screws.

For Hollow Walls (B): Drill holes using an Ø 8 mm (5/16") bit. Insert wall plugs and then secure the bracket with screws.

For Solid Wood (C): Drill holes using an Ø 3 mm (1/8") bit. Secure the bracket directly with screws, without plugs.

If you are uncertain about your wall type, seek professional advice.

Step 36: Attach Wall Brackets to Unit

Attach the wall mounting brackets (part 10102070) to the back of the GULLABERG unit.

Step 37: Secure Wall Brackets

Secure the wall brackets to the unit using screws (part 109572) and cam locks (part 10102070).

Step 38: Adjust Drawer Slides

Adjust the drawer slides for smooth operation using screws (parts 109572, 100823).

Step 39: Assemble Drawer Box

Assemble the drawer boxes. Connect the drawer sides and base using screws (part 118331).

Step 40: Attach Drawer Front

Attach the drawer front to the assembled drawer box using dowels (part 101345).

Step 41: Assemble Drawer Sides

Assemble the drawer sides, ensuring they are correctly oriented.

Step 42: Attach Drawer Runners to Drawer Sides

Attach the drawer runners to the drawer sides using cam locks (part 131361).

Step 43: Slide in Drawer Bottom

Slide the drawer bottom panel into the grooves of the assembled drawer sides.

Step 44: Attach Drawer Front Support

Attach any necessary front support components for the drawer.

Step 45: Attach Drawer Front

Attach the drawer front to the drawer box, aligning it correctly.

Step 46: Secure Drawer Sides

Secure the drawer sides using screws (part 145718).

Step 47: Attach Drawer Runners to Drawer Sides

Attach the drawer runners to the drawer sides using cam locks (part 131361).

Step 48: Attach Drawer Slides to Drawer Sides

Attach the drawer slides to the drawer sides using screws (part 146114).

Step 49: Attach Drawer Knobs/Handles

Attach the drawer knobs or handles using screws (part 106603) and cam locks (parts 10095978, 10096248, 10118153).

Step 50: Insert Drawers

Insert the assembled drawers into the unit. Remember the warning: never open more than one drawer at a time to maintain stability. ⚠

Step 51: Final Drawer Insertion

Insert the remaining drawers into their respective positions in the unit.

Always secure the furniture to the wall using the provided anti-tip device to prevent serious injury or death from tip-over. Ensure the wall mounting is appropriate for your wall type and securely fastened.
