Operational Principle
The damper remains open in its standby position. It automatically closes to a safety position upon receiving a command from a Centralized Fire Management System (CMSI) or via a thermal probe. The damper can be reset remotely using its motorization.
Product Description
ISONE® 2.1 fire dampers are intended for tertiary buildings (public access buildings, high-rise buildings). They restore the fire resistance rating of partitions that are traversed by a ventilation duct. Standard configuration includes a thermal fuse with a 70°C default tripping point. Control is available via an electromagnetic coil (24/48 VDC emission, 24 VDC or 48 VDC break) and a 24-48 VDC reset motor. The fire rating achieved is up to 120 minutes for all common partition types.

Installation
The ISONE® 2.1 damper can be installed without sealing on lightweight partitions, even with a post-mounted lintel. It supports recessed mounting on various materials including concrete walls/slabs, cellular concrete, plasterboard walls, and plasterboard type A (1h) and type F (2h). Remote mounting on PROMAT / GEOSTAF is also supported. Installation tabs facilitate positioning on lightweight partitions. Extended recess dimensions are specified by EXAP EN 15882-2:2015, rules X.45 and X.46. It is crucial to respect the fire classification reports during installation.
