Product Description
Fire dampers designed for tertiary buildings (Public Access Buildings, High-Rise Buildings). They restore the fire resistance rating of partitions traversed by a ventilation duct. Equipped with a default 70°C thermal release fuse. Actuation via electromagnetic coil (24/48VDC emission, 24VDC or 48VDC break). Reset motor operates on 24-48 VDC. Achieves up to 120 minutes fire rating on all standard partitions.
Installation / Implementation
General Notes:
- Installation without embedding required on lightweight partitions, even with post-mounted sleeves.
- Recessed mounting is possible on:
- Concrete walls/slabs and cellular concrete
- Plasterboard walls
- Plasterboard type A (1h) and type F (2h)
- Remote mounting is supported on PROMAT / GEOSTAF systems.
- Positioning on lightweight partitions is facilitated by mounting brackets.
- Complies with EXAP EN 15882-2:2015, rules X.45 and X.46 for extended recess dimensions.
- Ensure fire classification reports are respected during installation.
Installation Clearances:
- ISONE® 2.1 circular on concrete wall: Requires a minimum clearance of 150 mm around the damper, with an additional space of D+50 mm.
- ISONE® 2.1 circular on concrete slab: Requires a minimum clearance of 150 mm around the damper, with an additional space of D+135 mm.
- ISONE® 2.1 circular on lightweight partition (120 min): Requires a minimum clearance of D+60 mm on both sides of the partition.
- ISONE® 2.1 circular on plasterboard partition (120 min): Requires a minimum clearance of D+60 mm on both sides of the partition.
- ISONE® 2.1 circular on lightweight partition (60 min) with post-mounted sleeve: Requires a minimum clearance of D+5 mm, suitable for partitions with a density of 35 kg/m³.

Operating Principle
The ISONE® 2.1 damper operates as follows:
- 1: Mounting bracket
- 2: Lip seal
- 3: Blade with seal
- 4: Galvanized steel tunnel body (sleeve)
- 5: Flange plate
- 6: ISONE® 2.1 PM mechanism
The damper is open in its standby position. It closes upon command from the Centralized Fire Safety Management System (CMSI) or via a thermal probe, moving to its safety (closed) position. It can be reset remotely using the motorization.
Performance Curves
The graph displays performance characteristics of the ISONE® 2.1 fire damper. The X-axis represents air velocity (V) in meters per second (m/s). The left Y-axis shows pressure drop (ΔP) in Pascals (Pa), while the right Y-axis indicates acoustic power (Lw) in decibels (A) [dB(A)]. Multiple lines are plotted, each corresponding to a different nominal damper diameter (ØD) ranging from 100 mm to 500 mm. The curves illustrate how both pressure drop and acoustic power increase as the air velocity increases, with variations based on the damper's diameter.
