Smart WiFi LED Controller USER GUIDE
Introduction
The Shelly RGBW2 WiFi LED Controller by Allterco Robotics is designed for direct installation with LED strips/lights to control color and dimming. It can function as a standalone device or integrate with home automation systems.
Shelly devices offer remote control of electrical appliances via mobile phone, PC, or home automation systems using WiFi. They can operate locally or remotely via the internet through Shelly Cloud services.
The device features an integrated web server for adjustment, control, and monitoring, with two WiFi modes: Access Point (AP) and Client Mode (CM).

Technical Information

Installation Instructions
⚠️ CAUTION! Installation should be performed by a qualified person (electrician).
⚠️ CAUTION! Voltage may be present across clamps even when the device is off. Ensure power is disconnected before making connections.

⚠️ CAUTION! Use only with power grids and appliances complying with applicable regulations. Short circuits may damage the device.
RECOMMENDATION: Connect and control electric circuits/appliances only if they comply with relevant standards and safety norms.
Initial Inclusion:
- Ensure the power grid is off before installation.
- Connect Shelly to the power grid following the wiring scheme (described as Figure 1 in the original document, showing connections for Power Supply DC, GND, Switch Input (I), and RGBW channels).
- You can use Shelly with the Shelly Cloud mobile application or via its embedded web interface.

Mobile Application for Management of Shelly®
The Shelly Cloud app allows control and adjustment of Shelly devices globally via internet connection.
Install the app from Google Play (Android, represented by a Google Play icon) or the App Store (iOS, represented by an App Store icon).
Registration: Create an account to manage Shelly devices. A valid email is required for password recovery.
Forgotten Password: Use the registered email address to reset your password.
Device Inclusion Steps (using Shelly Cloud App):
- Step 1: After installation and power-on, Shelly creates its own WiFi Access Point (AP) (e.g.,
shellyrgbw2-35FA58
). If not, reset the device (power cycle and press switch 5 times, or press reset button once; LED will flash, then power cycle again). - Step 2: In the app, select "Add Device". Enter the WiFi network name (SSID) and password for your home network.
- Step 3:
- iOS: Press the home button, go to Settings > WiFi, and connect to the Shelly WiFi network (e.g.,
shellyrgbw2-35FA58
). - Android: The phone/tablet automatically scans and includes Shelly devices on the connected WiFi network.

- Step 4: A pop-up confirms successful device inclusion.
- Step 5: A list of discovered devices appears in the "Discovered Devices" room (approx. 30 seconds after network discovery).
- Step 6: Select the device, enter a name, choose a room, and optionally add an icon or picture. Press "Save Device".
- Step 7: Press "YES" to enable Shelly Cloud service for remote control and monitoring.
Shelly Device Settings: Control and automate devices via the app. Use ON/OFF buttons, click device name for details, edit appearance, and settings.
Work Modes
The Shelly RGBW2 supports two modes:
- Color Mode: Choose from a full color gamma. Includes 4 predefined colors (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow) and a dimmer slider for brightness.
- White Mode: Four separate channels, each with an On/Off button and a dimmer slider for individual brightness control.
The Embedded Web Interface
Control and set up Shelly devices via a web browser without the mobile app. Connect to the device's WiFi network (AP mode) and navigate to its IP address (e.g., 192.168.33.1
).
Abbreviations:
- Shelly-ID: Unique device name (e.g.,
35FA58
). - SSID: WiFi network name created by the device (e.g.,
shellyrgbw2-35FA58
). - Access Point (AP): Device creates its own WiFi connection point.
- Client Mode (CM): Device connects to an existing WiFi network.
Initial Inclusion via Web Interface:
- Step 1: Install and power on the Shelly device. It creates its own WiFi network (AP). (Refer to reset instructions if AP is not created).
- Step 2: Connect your phone, tablet, or PC to the Shelly WiFi network (SSID).
- Step 3: Open a web browser and type
192.168.33.1
to access the web interface.
Home Page: Displays current work mode, state (on/off), brightness, power button, cloud connection status, time, and settings.
Settings:
- Edit Device: Change Device Name, Room, Picture.
- Timer:
- Auto OFF: Automatically shuts down after a set time (0 cancels).
- Auto ON: Automatically turns on after a set time (0 cancels).
- Weekly Schedule: Turn devices on/off automatically at predefined times (requires internet connection).
- Sunrise/Sunset: Turn devices on/off automatically based on sunrise/sunset times (requires internet connection).
- Internet/Security:
- WiFi Mode: Client (connect to existing network) or Access Point (create new network).
- Cloud: Enable/Disable cloud service connection.
- Restrict Login: Set username and password for web interface access.
- Power On Default Mode: Set default state (ON, OFF, or Restore Last Mode) upon power restoration.
- Firmware Update: Update device firmware when new versions are available.
- Time Zone and Geo-location: Enable/disable automatic detection.
- Factory Reset: Restore device to default settings.
- Device Reboot: Restart the device.
- Device Information: View Device ID and IP address.

Environmental Protection
Dispose of the device, accessories, and packaging at designated recycling locations. Do not dispose of batteries with household waste.
Warranty Terms
Warranty Period: 24 months from the date of purchase by the End User.
Validity: EU territory, in compliance with applicable laws and user rights.

Claims: Address claims regarding conformity to the Seller. Damages related to defective products should be claimed against the Manufacturer.

Warranty Exclusions: The warranty does NOT cover damages resulting from:
- Inappropriate use, wiring, or exceeding load/current limits.
- Non-compliance with warranty card/receipt requirements or forgery.
- Unauthorized self-repair, modification, or adaptation.
- Improper handling, storage, or transportation, or non-observance of instructions.
- Use of non-standard power supply, network, or faulty devices.
- Force majeure events (floods, storms, fire, natural disasters, war, etc.), accidents, robbery, water damage, ingress of liquids, extreme temperatures, air pollution.
- Mechanical damage (impacts, falls, scratches, deformations) from wrong use.
- Exposure to severe outdoor conditions (high humidity, dust, extreme temperatures).
- Lack of user maintenance as specified in the manual.
- Use of faulty or non-recommended accessories, or non-original spare parts.
- Faulty software, computer viruses, or incorrect software updates.
Limitations: Warranty repairs do not include routine maintenance. Wear and tear are not covered. Manufacturer is not liable for property damage or indirect damages (loss of profits, etc.).
