Introduction

This document provides instructions for the safe installation, use, and maintenance of the Ardes ARMANI01 Manicure, Pedicure and Polish Dryer Set. Please read these instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.

Safety Warnings

General Warnings

• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and over and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or with a lack of experience or knowledge, if adequate supervision has been ensured or if they have received instructions on how to use the appliance safely and have understood the related dangers.
• Children must not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are over the age of 8 and supervised.
• Keep the appliance dry.
• The appliance is designed for domestic environments and must be used according to this manual; any other use is improper and dangerous.
• Before assembling accessories, ensure the appliance is switched off.

Specific Warnings

• ATTENTION: Pregnant or breastfeeding women, persons with skin inflammation of the fingers or toes, or persons with allergies should not use this appliance.
• ATTENTION: Do not use for persons with limited sensitivity to heat or touch.

• Remove discharged batteries immediately and dispose of them correctly according to law.
• Do not heat batteries or expose them to heat sources.

• Do not deform batteries.
• Do not throw or dispose of batteries in fire.
• Avoid contact with water or moisture, especially if the battery case is damaged.
• Do not enclose or modify batteries.
• Store unused batteries in their original packaging away from metal objects. If removed from packaging, do not mix batteries.
• If the appliance is not to be used for an extended period, remove the batteries.
• Clean battery and appliance contacts before inserting batteries.
• In case of battery leakage, avoid contact with spilled material. Rinse affected area with water and seek medical attention.

• 1. Filing tip: For shaping sides and undersides of acrylic nails, to flatten surfaces.
• 2. Modelling tip: Shapes the edge of nails to create the desired shape.

• 4. Smoothing tip: Ideal for use on acrylic nails, to smooth the connection between natural and acrylic nails.

Instructions for Use

Base Unit Batteries

The base is supplied with batteries included (3 x LR44 1.5V batteries).

1. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw from cover (6) and remove cover (6).
2. Remove the insulating plastic from the batteries.
3. Close cover (6) and fasten with the screw.

When batteries are depleted, replace with same type:

1. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw from cover (6) and remove cover (6).
2. Remove the batteries.
3. Insert 3 new LR44 1.5V batteries, observing indicated polarity.
4. Close cover (6) and fasten with the screw.

To remove batteries, repeat steps 1 and 2.

Motor Unit

The motor unit is supplied without batteries.

Ensure switch (11) is set to OFF.

1. Turn cover (10) counter-clockwise and remove it from the motor body (13): ▶️ ?
2. Insert 2 x AAA LR03 1.5V batteries, observing indicated polarity.
3. Place cover (10) onto the motor body (13) and secure by turning clockwise: ?

To remove batteries, repeat step 1 and remove batteries.

Operating the Motor Unit

1. Select desired accessory (1-5).
2. Place the accessory onto the motor body (13) so it is firmly secured.
3. Set switch (11) to ON.
4. After use, set switch (11) to OFF to switch off the motor unit.

Operating the UV Light

To dry polish:

1. Turn the base (9) upside down.
2. Press button (7) to activate UV light (8).
3. Place nails to be dried under the UV light (8).
4. After use, release button (7) to switch off the UV light.

Notes:

• Change the position of nails during drying for even drying.
• For optimal drying, do not apply a layer of polish too thickly.

Cleaning and Maintenance

This appliance requires no special maintenance; regular cleaning is sufficient.

Before cleaning, ensure the appliance is switched off.

• To clean the base unit, use a soft, damp cloth.
• To clean accessories, use a brush or damp cloth.
• Do not use abrasive substances or chemical solvents.
• Attention: Keep the appliance dry.
• DO NOT SUBMERGE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER.

Disposal

Packaging

To respect the environment, packaging material must be disposed of correctly, respecting separate waste collection. Check your municipality's provisions.

Batteries

Remove batteries from the appliance before disposal. Do not dispose of batteries in domestic waste. Batteries must be disposed of in special containers or at special collection points. Proper waste separation helps prevent potential negative effects on the environment and health. To remove batteries, follow the instructions for use.

User Information (WEEE Directive)

This symbol ?️ on the equipment or its packaging indicates that the product must be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its service life. Warranty

Conditions

The warranty is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase. It is valid only if correctly filled out and accompanied by the tax receipt. The appliance must be delivered exclusively to an authorized Service Centre. Warranty covers replacement or repair of components faulty from manufacturing defects. Assistance is also available for out-of-warranty products (for a fee).

Limitations

Warranty rights and responsibilities expire if the device has been:

• Tampered with by unauthorized personnel.
• Used, stored, or transported improperly.
• Loss of aesthetic performance or performance that does not compromise function is excluded from warranty.
