Important Safety Instructions
Read this booklet carefully as it contains important instructions for safe installation, use, and maintenance. Keep these instructions for future reference.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and maintenance operations must not be carried out by children without supervision.
- The installation of the appliance must be carried out by professionally qualified personnel.
- Ensure the mains power supply is carried out in accordance with current installation rules using a flexible cable with a plug or an omnipolar switch that ensures complete disconnection under overvoltage category III. The contact opening distance must not be less than 3 mm.
- The appliance must be installed at least 2.3 m from the floor and the outermost edge of the blades must be at least 0.76 m away from the wall.
- The appliance can operate at 50Hz or 60Hz without adjustments.
- CAUTION: When the appliance is connected to the power supply, do not touch the rotating blades and keep away from them.
- The appliance is intended for internal use only; do not use outdoors.
General Precautions
- Keep the warranty, receipt, and instruction booklet for future reference.
- After removing packaging, check the appliance for integrity. If damaged, do not use and contact qualified personnel.
- Keep packaging elements away from children to avoid suffocation risk.
- Before connecting, ensure the data on the rating plate matches the distribution network data.
- Do not use the appliance if it is not intact. If in doubt, contact qualified personnel.
- This appliance is designed solely as a ceiling fan.
- The manufacturer is not responsible for damage resulting from improper or incorrect use.
- The appliance must be connected to a good earth conductor.
- Use a H05VVF type cable for installation.
- Before cleaning or maintenance, disconnect the appliance from the electrical power supply by turning off the system switch.
- Do not power the appliance via an external switching device (e.g., timer) or a circuit that is regularly energized or de-energized by the service.
- In case of fault or malfunction, turn off the appliance and do not tamper with it. For repairs, contact qualified personnel and request original spare parts.
- Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands or feet.
- Do not expose the appliance to atmospheric agents.
- Do not use the appliance in the presence of flammable or explosive liquids or gases.
- When not in use, it is recommended to make the appliance inoperative by turning off the system switch.
- This product is intended for domestic use only, not for commercial, industrial, or outdoor use.
Battery Warnings
- KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Swallowing may cause chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Seek medical attention immediately.
- Do not allow children to replace batteries.
- Insert batteries correctly, paying attention to polarities (+ and -).
- Batteries must not be short-circuited.
- Do not charge batteries.
- Do not force batteries to discharge.
- Do not mix new and used batteries or batteries of different types or manufacturers.
- Remove exhausted batteries immediately and dispose of them properly according to applicable laws.
- Do not heat batteries or expose them to heat sources.
- Do not solder batteries directly.
- Do not disassemble batteries.
- Do not deform batteries.
- Do not throw batteries into fire.
- Do not expose batteries to water or moisture, especially if the battery container is damaged.
- Do not encapsulate or modify batteries.
- Store unused batteries in their original packaging away from metal objects.
- If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long period, remove the batteries.
- Clean battery contacts and device contacts before inserting batteries.
- In case of battery leakage, avoid contact with the leaked material. If contact occurs, rinse the affected area with water and consult a doctor.
Installation
Package Contents:
- Fan (main body, assembled)
- Radio remote control
- Fixing support
- Installation kit
Installation Steps:
- Remove the fixing bracket (3) from the fan body (1) by loosening the four screws on top, without removing them completely. (See diagrams 1.1 and 1.2)
- Depending on ceiling type (wood or concrete), drill necessary holes and use plugs (4) to fix the support (3) to the ceiling. (See diagram 1.3)
- Secure the fan body to the installation support using the appropriate steel cable.
- Proceed with electrical connections:
- Connect phase and neutral cables from the system using supplied terminals. (See diagram 1.4)
- Connect ground wires from the motor, receiver, and support (3) to the electrical system's ground wire using a terminal block.
- Once electrical connections are complete, lift the fan body and align the four seats on top with the screws on the installation support (1.5). Rotate the fan body and tighten the screws (1.6).
- If an unusual oscillating motion is observed during fan operation, turn off the product immediately and contact service.
Instructions for Use (Remote Control)
Refer to the remote control diagram for button functions:
- A: Fan and light off.
- B: Light On / Off (does not affect the fan).
- C: Quickly change LED color temperature (warm, natural, cold light).
- D: Warm light: Gradually switch from cool to warm light.
- E: Cool light: Gradually switch from warm to cool light.
- F: Increase brightness.
- G: Reduce brightness.
- H: Delayed fan shutdown after 1 hour.
- I: Delayed fan shutdown after 2 hours.
- L: Fan OFF (does not affect the lighting).
- M: Ventilation speed selectable on 6 levels.
- N: Winter/Summer button. Blades must not be rotating to switch modes.
- Summer Mode: Circulates air from top to bottom for cooling.
- Winter Mode: Circulates air from bottom to top to distribute warm air.
- O: Natural Breeze mode simulates a natural breeze by alternating ventilation speeds.
- P: Activate/deactivate the confirmation beep sound.
Batteries for Remote Control
The remote control is supplied without batteries. Insert two AAA batteries, respecting the indicated polarities.
To remove batteries, open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.

Maintenance
- Before cleaning, turn off the fan and disconnect it from the electrical power supply.
- For external cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth.
- DO NOT immerse the fan in water or spray it with liquids.
- DO NOT use solvents or other chemicals for cleaning.
Disposal
Packaging
Dispose of packaging material properly in accordance with separate collection regulations. Check local regulations.
User Information (WEEE)
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol indicates that the product must be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its service life. Take the equipment to suitable collection centers for electrical and electronic waste. Contact your local authority for details. Proper collection and recycling help prevent environmental damage and promote material reuse.
Batteries
Remove batteries before disposal. Do not dispose of batteries in household waste. Dispose of batteries in designated containers or at designated collection points.
Limited Warranty
1. Scope of Application
Poly Pool S.p.A. provides this Limited Warranty for Ardes-branded products. It covers products in their original configuration, including accessories, but not consumable parts like batteries or bulbs.
2. Consumer Rights
This Limited Warranty does not affect consumer rights provided by national legislation transposing Directive (EU) 2019/771. Consumers can always assert their rights against the seller under statutory warranty conditions.
3. Purpose of Warranty
Poly Pool S.p.A. will repair or replace products or components found to have manufacturing defects.
4. Cases of Exclusion of Warranty
The warranty does not cover defects caused by:
- Installation errors due to negligence or inexperience.
- Non-compliance with manual instructions and warnings.
- Improper or lack of maintenance.
- Poor storage.
- Tampering or modifications by the customer or unauthorized third parties.
- Improper use or use not in accordance with the product's intended purpose.
- Aggravated damage from continued use after a defect becomes apparent.
- External factors not attributable to Poly Pool S.p.A.
- Counterfeiting or erasure of model/serial number or label.
- Loss of performance or visual appearance that does not compromise essential functions.
- Obvious defects recognizable upon delivery.
- Deterioration due to normal wear and tear.
- Defects caused by third-party products or components connected to or used with the product.
5. Warranty Claim Request
For support, contact customer support at ardes@polypool.it. For Italy, San Marino, and Vatican City, contact the nearest Authorized Technical Support Centre. Details are on www.ardes.it.
To activate the warranty, the End Customer must possess a sales receipt and/or invoice and/or delivery note. Poly Pool S.p.A. reserves the right to refuse warranty service if these documents are not provided.
6. Duration
The warranty period is 2 years from the date of purchase (or delivery at the latest). In case of replacement, the original warranty period continues.
7. Regional Scope
This warranty is valid only for services rendered within the European Union, Vatican City, or San Marino.
