Data Transmission
This product transmits radio frequency (RF) in the 2.4 GHz band. Do not use this product in locations where RF is restricted, such as on an airplane or in a hospital. In RF-restricted areas, turn off the Bluetooth function on this blood pressure monitor and remove the batteries and/or AC adapter.
2.2 Cautions
CAUTION indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate personal injury or damage to property.
- If you experience skin irritation or discomfort, discontinue use of the blood pressure monitor and consult your doctor.
- Measurement with this blood pressure monitor may cause temporary interference with blood flow for individuals with: vascular access, intravascular therapy, or arteriovenous (A-V) shunt; it may also cause injury. Consult your doctor before use.
- If you have had a mastectomy, consult your doctor before using this blood pressure monitor.
- If you have severe blood flow problems or blood disorders, bruising may occur due to cuff pressure. Consult your doctor before using this blood pressure monitor.
- Do not take unnecessary measurements, as this may cause bruising due to impaired blood flow.
- Do not inflate the cuff unless it is properly wrapped around the arm.
- If the cuff does not deflate, remove the cuff.
- The unit may become warm during a malfunction. If this occurs, do not touch the unit.
- The monitor is intended for measuring blood pressure only. Do not use it for any other purpose.
- During measurement, ensure that no mobile devices or other electronic devices emitting electromagnetic fields are within 30 cm of the blood pressure monitor, as this may cause the monitor to malfunction or result in inaccurate readings.
- Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the blood pressure monitor or accessories, as this may result in incorrect measurement readings.
- Do not use the blood pressure monitor in wet conditions or in areas where water may splash onto it, as this may damage the unit.
- Do not operate the blood pressure monitor in moving vehicles (e.g., cars) or airplanes.
- Avoid dropping the blood pressure monitor or subjecting it to strong impacts or vibrations.
- Avoid placing the blood pressure monitor in areas of extreme humidity, dryness, or temperature. Refer to Section 5 of this manual.
- During measurement, monitor your arm to ensure the cuff does not cause long-term circulation impairment.
- Do not use this blood pressure monitor in settings where it will be used frequently, such as medical clinics or doctor's offices.
- Do not use this blood pressure monitor simultaneously with other medical electrical (ME) equipment, as this may cause malfunction or inaccurate readings.
- At least 30 minutes before taking a measurement, avoid bathing, drinking alcohol or caffeinated beverages, smoking, exercising, and eating.
- Rest for at least 5 minutes before measuring blood pressure.
- During measurement, remove any tight-fitting or thick clothing from your arm and remove any accessories.
- Remain still and do not talk during measurement.
- Do not use if your arm circumference is outside the cuff's applicable range.
- Before measuring blood pressure, ensure that this blood pressure monitor is at room temperature. Measuring blood pressure under extreme temperature changes may lead to inaccurate readings. If the blood pressure monitor was stored at the maximum or minimum storage temperature, it is recommended to leave it in the usage environment for approximately 2 hours to allow it to acclimatize to room temperature before use. For further information on usage environment and storage/transport temperatures, refer to Section 5 of this manual.
- Do not use this blood pressure monitor after its expiration date. Refer to Section 5 of this manual.
- Do not excessively fold or kink the cuff or air tube.
- Do not fold or kink the air tube during measurement. This may cause injury due to interrupted blood flow.
- To disconnect the air tube, pull the plastic connector at the base of the air tube, not the air tube itself.
- Only use the AC adapter, cuff, batteries, and accessories specified for this blood pressure monitor. Using incompatible AC adapters, cuffs, or batteries may cause damage and/or hazards to this blood pressure monitor.
- Only use an approved cuff for this blood pressure monitor. Using other cuffs may result in incorrect readings.
- Over-inflation to unnecessarily high pressure may cause injury to the arm wearing the cuff. Note: For more information, refer to "If Your Systolic Pressure Exceeds 210 mmHg" in Section 9 of the user manual.
Data Transmission
Do not change batteries or disconnect the AC adapter while data is being transmitted to your smart device. This may cause the blood pressure monitor to operate incorrectly and prevent your blood pressure data from being transmitted.
AC Adapter (Optional Accessory) Handling and Use

- Unplug the AC adapter before cleaning this blood pressure monitor.
Battery Management and Use
- Insert batteries, aligning the positive (+) and negative (-) ends correctly.
- This blood pressure monitor uses only 4 "AA" alkaline or manganese batteries. Do not use other types of batteries. Do not mix new and old batteries. Do not mix batteries of different brands.
- If the blood pressure monitor will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries.
- If battery fluid accidentally gets into your eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and consult your doctor.
- If battery fluid accidentally contacts your skin, wash immediately with plenty of clean, warm water. If irritation, injury, or pain persists, consult your doctor.
- Do not use expired batteries.
- Periodically check the batteries to ensure they are functioning properly.
2.3 General Precautions
- When measuring on the right arm, the air tube should be on the inner side of the elbow. Be careful not to rest your arm on the air tube.
- Blood pressure may differ between the right and left arms, and may result in different readings. Continue to use the same arm for measurements. If there is a significant difference between the readings on the right and left arms, consult your doctor to determine which arm to use for blood pressure measurement.
- When using the optional AC adapter, do not place the blood pressure monitor in a location where it is difficult to plug in or unplug the AC adapter.
- To stop a measurement, press the [START/STOP] button during measurement.
- Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
- The lifespan of the batteries included with the packaging may be shorter than that of new batteries.
