Product Overview

This document details the specifications for the Moen IVER™ Single-Handle POSI-TEMP® Tub/Shower Trim Kit.

Description

Metal construction with various finishes identified by suffix.
Includes showerhead, arm, flange, and diverter spout.
Features red and blue temperature markings on the handle.

Operation

The handle operates through a 270° arc. The 'off' position is at 6 o'clock, and maximum hot water is at the 9 o'clock position. Shut-off is achieved by turning clockwise.
An adjustable temperature limit stop allows control over the maximum hot water temperature.
A pressure-balancing mechanism maintains the selected discharge temperature within ±3°F.

Flow

Showerhead flow is limited to 1.75 GPM (6.6 L/min) at 80 psi.
EP suffix models also have a flow rate limited to 1.75 GPM (6.6 L/min) at 80 psi.
NH suffix models do not include a showerhead.

Cartridge

Features a 1222 cartridge design.
Constructed from non-metallic, non-ferrous, and stainless steel materials.
Accommodates back-to-back installations.

Standards

Third-party certified to meet ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1 and all applicable referenced requirements.
EP suffix models are third-party certified to WaterSense® standards.
The lever handle is ADA compliant [ADA compliant].

Warranty

Lifetime limited warranty against leaks, drips, and finish defects for the original homeowner.
10-year limited warranty for multifamily installations.
5-year limited warranty for commercial installations.

Rough-in Valve Position: The valve body is located 3-3/8 inches (86mm) from the finished wall.
Valve Port Spacing: Center-to-center distance for valve ports is 3-1/8 inches (80mm).
Tub Spout Position: The tub spout is 6-3/8 inches (162mm) from the finished wall and 7 inches (178mm) from the floor.
Shower Height from Floor: Adjustable, typically 45 inches (1143mm) or 48 inches (1219mm) for a shower, or 32 inches (813mm) for a tub or tub/shower configuration.
