Assembly Notice & Safety
The iSinwheel S9PRO electric scooter is a leisure device. However, when used in public areas, it is considered a vehicle and is subject to vehicle-related risks. For your safety, adhere to the manual's instructions and traffic laws established by governmental bodies and regulators.
- Pedestrian Courtesy: Respect pedestrians' right of way. Avoid startling them, especially children. When passing pedestrians from behind, use the bell to alert them and reduce speed, passing on their left (applicable in countries where vehicles drive on the right). When crossing paths with pedestrians, stay to the right and maintain a low speed. If passing pedestrians, keep speed very low or dismount.
- Manual Adherence: Carefully follow the manual's safety instructions. iSinwheel is not liable for economic losses, physical injuries, accidents, legal disputes, or other conflicts arising from violations of user instructions.
- Pre-Ride Check: Inspect the scooter before each use. If you notice loose parts, low battery alerts, excessive wear, strange noises, or malfunctions, cease riding.
- WARNING: Risk of fire. No user-serviceable parts are included.
Folding and Transport
Follow these steps to fold and transport your scooter:
- Ensure the scooter is turned off.
- To fold, unlock the folding mechanism. Fold the handlebar stem down until it hooks into the buckle on the rear fender.
- To unfold, press the bell trigger to release the buckle, lift the handlebar, and lock the folding structure.
Disc Brake Adjustment
Adjusting Brake Sensitivity:
You will need the Allen wrench to loosen the caliper screw.
- If the disc brake is too sensitive, turn the brake caliper slightly downwards. Then, re-install the screw into the brake cable core and tighten.
- If the disc brake cannot stop the scooter effectively, turn the brake caliper slightly upwards. Then, re-install the screw into the brake cable core and tighten.
Note: The disc brake may chirp during initial use until it is properly broken in. This is normal and does not affect brake performance.
To Eliminate Disc Brake Noise:
- First, ensure the scooter is turned off. For easier handling, place the scooter on a desk.
- Loosen the two pump screws (not the caliper screw).
- Adjust the position of the disc brake pump to ensure the brake disc is centered between the two brake pads.
- Ensure the brake disc and brake pads do not touch each other.
- Hold the disc brake pump in the desired position and re-tighten the pump screws.
Daily Care and Maintenance
Cleaning and Storage
If you notice stains on the scooter's body, wipe them with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a small amount of toothpaste and a toothbrush, then wipe with a damp cloth.
Notes:
- Do not clean the scooter with alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive and volatile chemical solvents to avoid serious damage.
- Do not wash the deck with a high-pressure water jet. During cleaning, ensure the scooter is off, the charging cable is unplugged, and the rubber cover is closed, as water ingress can cause electric shock or other significant issues.
- When the scooter is not in use, store it in a dry and cool place.
- Avoid leaving it outdoors for extended periods. Excessive sunlight, overheating, and overcooling accelerate battery degradation.
Battery Maintenance
- Use original batteries. Using other models or brands may cause safety issues.
- Do not touch the contacts. Do not disassemble or puncture the casing. Keep contacts away from metallic objects to prevent short circuits, which could damage the battery or cause injury or death.
- Use the original power adapter to prevent potential damage or fires.
- Improper handling of used batteries can cause significant environmental harm. To protect the environment, follow local regulations for proper disposal of used batteries.
- After each use, fully charge the battery to prolong its lifespan.
Storage and Disposal
- Store the scooter in a cool, dry place, ideally between 14°F and 104°F (-10°C and 40°C). In extremely humid environments, condensation or water accumulation inside the scooter can rapidly damage the battery. The device is not intended for use at altitudes above 2000m. Prolonged exposure to UV rays, rain, and elements can damage casing materials; store indoors when not in use.
- In daily use, try to avoid recharging the scooter only after it has been completely depleted. If the battery is low, charge it as soon as possible.
- Charge the scooter every two months to maintain battery health.
