Installation Instructions
A. Mounting Surface Preparation: Ensure that the mounting surface can adequately support the weight of the pedestal and withstand mechanical forces associated with charger usage.
B. Anti-Collision Protection: Appropriate anti-collision protection must be provided by the customer when mounting the Eiffel pedestal in parking spaces.
C. Foundation Responsibility: The calculation, design, and manufacture of the concrete foundation lie within the scope of responsibility of the site's producer.
D. Foundation Requirements: A horizontal, level, and sound foundation is required for installation.

1 - Mounting Base
Diagram shows a concrete foundation with dimensions 400mm x 250mm, with a 300mm depth for the foundation. An empty conduit is shown entering the foundation, with cables inside. The cable length is specified as 1.7m.
A. Foundation Construction: Build a concrete foundation with an empty conduit and lay all the cables in the center of the foundation.
B. Cable Length: Ensure the cables have appropriate excess length for the remaining installation. Cable length: 1.7m.
C. Packaging: Open the packaging and obtain the mounting parts needed for the installation.
2 - Drilling
A. Positioning Template: Place the drilling template on the top of the foundation, pass the power supply cable through the center hole, and mark the positions of the four boreholes on the concrete foundation.
B. Drilling Holes: Remove the drilling template and drill four holes.
C. Anchor Bolt Preparation: Remove the nuts and washers from the anchor bolts.
D. Anchor Insertion: Insert the anchors in the drilled holes, ensuring they are leveled and at least 40mm above the top of the foundation.
3 - Mounting
A. Pedestal Placement: Remove the pedestal from the packaging and then place the pedestal carefully over the four anchor screws.
B. Securing Pedestal: Place the washers and the nuts over the anchor screws and tighten the screws with the socket spanner extension. Tighten the iNDEX screws up to 34 Nm for Masonry and 54 Nm for concrete.
D. Charger Installation: Install the charger according to instructions in its installation manual.
For Dual installation, you will have to purchase a separate charger adapter plate and install the charger at the back panel of the pedestal.
E. Fixing Plug Holder: Fix the plug holder on the front panel by inserting the screws on the threaded holes.
4 - Electric Connections (Accessory)
A. Connection Box Cover: Open the cover of the connection box and remove the thin plastic cover on the required number of cable ports. Only one cable must be drawn through each grommet to ensure the IP protection.
You can purchase the electric connections box and the front adapter plate separately. The electrical connection box can be adapted for up to 24 DIN rail mountings to enable dual installation if required.
B. Positioning Electrical Box: Remove the protective caps inside the Electrical Box and center it with the four screws inside the pedestal.
C. Securing Electrical Box: Fix the Electrical Box to the pedestal by inserting the four nuts on the screws. Ensure to place the protective caps back on the screws.
