Installation
This section details the step-by-step process for installing the Wallbox Pulsar Max.
Installing the Wall plate
- Remove the tape from the wall plate to detach it from the charger.
- Place the wall plate straight. Use a pencil to mark the position of the holes.
- Drill three holes with an appropriate sized bit. Place the wall plate in alignment with the holes. If mounting on a solid wall, use the provided wall anchors.
- Firmly mount the wallplate using the provided wall screws. Do not over-tighten.
Preparing the Charger
- Remove the two corner screws and carefully lift the cover.
- Carefully detach the ribbon cable from the cover and set the cover aside.
Lower Connection
Follow these steps to connect the charger from the bottom:
- Lift your charger and hang it from the top of the wall plate. Secure the charger to the wall plate with the appropriate screws, avoiding over-tightening.
- Make an incision on the grommet and insert the power supply cable.
Rear Connection
Follow these steps to connect the charger from the rear:
- Make a hole on the back of the charger using a Step drill bit 32 mm. Insert the grommet from the included mounting parts kit.
- Make an incision on the grommet and insert the power supply cable.
- Hang your charger to the top of the wall plate.
- Secure the charger to the wallplate with the appropriate screws.
Electrical Wiring
Single Phase Version
Diagrams show Single Phase Set-up, Bi-phase No Neutral, and Single Phase PME configurations.
Three Phase Version
Diagrams show Three-phase Set-up, Three-phase No Neutral, and Bi-phase Set-up configurations.
Note for UK installations: Single Phase PME can be connected to the PME supply according to BS7671:2018-amd1:2020 722.411.4.1.
Note: For certain installations, check compatible EV models.
Warning: Ensure maximum voltage is less than 264 V between L & N inputs.
Closing the Charger
- Position the current selector to an appropriate setting. Ensure the selector does not point to 0, 8, and 9.
- Carefully reattach the communication cable to your charger cover and close it.
- Insert the four corner screws to secure your charger cover. Do not over-tighten.
- Align the bottom screw opening, place the cover frame on your charger, and attach the frame with the screw. Do not over-tighten.
Installing the Plug Holder
- Place the plug holder on the wall and mark the fixing points.
- Drill holes where the fixing points are marked.
- Insert the anchor screws into the fixing holes. Fix the device on the wall by inserting and tightening the screws.
Registering the Charger
- Download the myWallbox App and register.
- Scan the QR code on the product label to add your charger.
- Check for the latest updates.

Safety and Maintenance
This section provides crucial safety information and maintenance guidelines.
- Installation, maintenance, and servicing must be performed only by qualified personnel.
- Do not use if the enclosure or connector is damaged.
- Power off the charger before opening or cleaning. Use a clean, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Take precautions with electronic medical implants.
- Use the charger within specified operating parameters and ambient conditions.
- Ventilation is not supported.
- Avoid direct sunlight and extreme weather conditions.

Safety Recommendations
- Follow all safety and installation instructions carefully.
- Failure to follow instructions may lead to safety hazards or equipment malfunction.
- Damage due to disregard of instructions is excluded from the warranty.
Connector Recommendations and Installation Instructions
- Do not use if the charging cable is damaged or if the vehicle plug or electrical outlet is dirty, wet, or damaged.
- Do not use the charging cable with an adapter or extension cable.
- Do not tighten the charging cable while it is connected.
- Use the provided plug holder to protect the connector and prevent slipping.
Installation Instructions

- Ensure the mounting surface can support the charger's weight and withstand mechanical forces.
- The charger must be permanently connected to the electrical Earth.
- Install the charger in a sufficiently ventilated area.
Disposal Advice
Dispose of the product according to Directive 2012/19/EC at a designated collection center.
Limited Warranty
Wallbox warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for 3 years from the date of purchase. The warranty covers repair or replacement at Wallbox's discretion. It does not cover damage from accident, misuse, improper maintenance, or normal wear and tear.

Electrical Protection
- The power supply line must be wired to an existing installation and comply with local regulations.
- The charger must be protected by installing an external Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) and a Residual Current Circuit Breaker (RCCB).
- MCB: Recommended C curve, 6kA rated short-circuit capacity. Rated current up to 32 A.
- RCCB: Type A or Type B, according to local regulations. Manual reset type only.
- Local regulations may require an emergency switch.
