Installation Steps
1. Drilling
A. Place the drilling template on the wall and mark the four fixing points. Ensure a clearance of 0.5-1 m on all sides. Diagram shows a template being placed on a wall, marking points, and indicating a clearance of 0.5-1m on all sides.
B. Drill holes where the fixing points are marked. The drill bit size required is Ø8 mm. Diagram shows drilling into marked points.
C. Insert the wall anchors into the fixing holes. Diagram shows wall anchors being inserted into drilled holes.
2. Opening the Cover
A. Remove the frame from the charger by unclipping it from the top. Then pull the rest of the frame off. Diagram shows the charger cover frame being unclipped and removed.
B. Open the nine clips manually to carefully unclip the cover. Disconnect the communications cable from the cover. Avoid using tools for this step. Diagram shows manual unfastening of nine clips and disconnecting a cable.
C. Position the current selector to the appropriate setting according to the electrical installation. Positions 0, 8, and 9 are reserved for Power Sharing Smart. Diagram shows a current selector dial with positions 0-9 and R.
3. Connections
3.1 Lower Connection
A. Fix the charger on the wall by inserting the screws (Ø4.2 x 25 mm) and then the rubber plugs. Diagram shows screws and rubber plugs being inserted into the charger base.
B. Make an incision on the grommet for the power supply cable. Diagram shows making a cut in a rubber grommet.
C. Insert the power supply cable through the grommet and secure it with the cable clamp. Use screws (Ø6 x 50 mm) for wall fixing. Diagram shows the power cable being fed through the grommet and secured with a clamp.
3.2 Rear Connection
A. Remove the knock-out on the back of the charger and insert the M25 grommet. Diagram shows removing a knockout and inserting an M25 grommet.
B. Make an incision on the grommet and insert the power supply cable. Diagram shows making a cut in the grommet and inserting the cable.
C. Fix the device on the wall by inserting the screws (Ø6 x 50 mm) and then the rubber plugs. Diagram shows fixing the device to the wall with screws and plugs.
4. Electrical Wiring
Ensure the maximum voltage is less than 264 V between L & N inputs.
Diagrams illustrate different wiring configurations:
- Single Phase Set-up
- Three-Phase Set-up
- Three-Phase No Neutral
- Bi-phase No Neutral
- Bi-phase Set-up
Diagrams show terminal connections for L1, L2, L3, N, PE for various configurations.
5. Ethernet Connection
This section applies if power supply and Ethernet cables are not installed in the same outlet.
A. Remove the knock-out next to the power supply input and insert a rubber plug. Diagram shows removing a knockout and inserting a rubber plug.
B. Make an incision in the rubber plug and insert the ethernet cable without the RJ45 connector. Ensure there is sufficient slack in the cable inside the charger for future maintenance. Diagram shows making a cut in the rubber plug and inserting the Ethernet cable.
C. Crimp the RJ45 connector to the cable and connect the cable to the Ethernet port on the charger. Diagram shows crimping an RJ45 connector and connecting it to the charger's Ethernet port.
For 3G/4G interface (optional feature, requires an accessory), find instructions on https://support.wallbox.com.
6. Closing the Cover
A. Attach the open end of the communications cable to the connector on the cover. Diagram shows connecting the cable to the cover connector.
B. Close the nine clips carefully and tighten the eight screws. Maximum torque/speed values: 1.2 Nm / 30 rpm. Diagram shows closing clips and tightening screws.
C. Fit the frame over the charger and then insert and tighten the two screws (T20). Diagram shows fitting the frame and tightening screws.
Important Safety Note: The charger should only be opened, closed, and serviced by a professional electrician. Do not attempt to service the charger yourself, as this may void the product warranty.
7. Registering the Charger
A. Locate the Serial Number (SN) and the UID of your charger.
B. Download the myWallbox App and register.
C. Add your charger by introducing the requested data.
