Philips Hue Play Light Bar User Manual

This manual provides instructions for the Philips Hue Play light bar base unit.

Product Overview

The Philips Hue Play light bar is a personal wireless lighting system designed to enhance your entertainment experience.

The package includes:

2x Hue Play light bars (a)
2x Stands (b)
2x Mounting clips (c)
2x Screws (d)
2x Adhesive pads (e)
1x Power adapter with interchangeable plugs (f) for EU, UK, AU/NZ

The system uses Zigbee certified technology for reliable connectivity.

Setup and Placement Options

There are several ways to set up your Hue Play light bars:

Option A: Placing on a surface

Place the light bars on a flat surface using the provided stands (b).

Option C: Mounting behind the TV

Mount the light bars to the back of your TV using the provided mounting clips (c) and adhesive pads (e).

Ensure a minimum distance of 6 cm between the light bar and the TV screen.

Step 1: Clean the surface where the clip will be attached with alcohol and a cloth.

Step 2: Peel the backing off the adhesive pad (e).

Step 3: Press the adhesive pad (e) onto the mounting clip (c) and hold for 10 seconds.

Step 4: Attach the mounting clip (c) with the adhesive pad to the back of the light bar (a) using screw (d).

Step 5: Clean the back of the TV with alcohol and a cloth.

Step 6: Press the mounting clip (c) with the light bar attached onto the back of the TV and hold for 10 seconds.

Step 7: Repeat for the second light bar.

Option D: Mounting behind the TV (alternative)

Mount the light bars to the back of your TV using the provided mounting clips (c) and adhesive pads (e).

Ensure a minimum distance of 6 cm between the light bar and the TV screen.

Connecting the Power Adapter

Connect the appropriate plug to the power adapter (f) for your region (EU, UK, AU/NZ) by aligning and pressing until it clicks.

Connect the power adapter to a power outlet.

Connecting to the Philips Hue System

To control your Hue Play light bars, they need to be connected to a Philips Hue Bridge and the Philips Hue app.
