Installation Guide

The following steps outline the installation process for the Philips Hue Enrave L.

Step 1: Turn off power.

Ensure the power is switched OFF at the circuit breaker before proceeding with any installation or removal of connectors.

Step 2: Prepare the fixture.

The fixture consists of a main body and a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket is attached to the ceiling first.

Step 3: Mount the fixture.

3a. Ceiling Mount:

Attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling using appropriate screws and wall anchors (included). Ensure the bracket is securely fastened.

3b. Wiring:

Connect the wires from the ceiling to the fixture's wiring terminals. Ensure correct polarity (Live, Neutral, Ground). The diagram shows a connection using wire connectors.

Step 4: Connect the wires.

Insert the stripped wires into the provided wire connectors. Screw on the connectors until two twists are visible in the wires. Refer to the wire connector instructions for specific wire gauge combinations.

Step 5: Attach the fixture to the bracket.

Align the fixture with the mounting bracket and secure it in place. The diagram shows three mounting points.

Step 6: Final check.

Ensure all connections are secure and the fixture is properly mounted.

Step 7: Turn on power.

Switch the power back ON at the circuit breaker.

Wire Connectors Instructions

Instructions for use with copper to copper conductor:

1. Turn off power before installing or removing connectors.
2. Strip wires 5/16" (7.9mm). For #16 and smaller wires, strip 3/8" (9.5mm).
3. Pre-twisting is unnecessary; hold stripped wires together with ends even. Lead stranded wires slightly.
4. Align any frayed strands or conductors.
5. Push wires into connector and screw on until two twists are visible in wires.

Temperature Rating: 105°C (221°F) Max.

Voltage Rating: 600V Max. for building wiring; 1000V Max. for fixtures and signs.
