Preparation & Tools

Before starting, verify all parts are present by comparing them with the package contents and hardware lists. Do not assemble if any part is missing or damaged.

WARNING:

• Some metal parts may have sharp edges. Wear gloves ? when handling to prevent cuts and scrapes.
• Keep small parts and packing material away from children ?, as they can be hazardous.
• Use a flashlight ? or an alternate light source to illuminate your work area during installation.
• Assistance may be required to support the fixture during installation.

CAUTION:

• Connect the fixture to supply wires rated for at least 167°F (75°C).
• This fixture is compatible with dimming circuits when using appropriate dimmable light bulbs.

Troubleshooting

Care and Maintenance

Shut off the main power ⚡ before cleaning. Clean the light fixture with a damp cloth ? or window cleaner. Do not use abrasive cleansers.

Warranty

The manufacturer warrants all of its lighting fixtures against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year limited from the date of purchase.

Installation Overview

Follow these steps for installation:

1. Step 1: Turn off the power ⚡ at the switch and remove the existing fixture.
2. Step 2: Attach the mounting strip (A) to the electrical outlet box using the two short mounting screws (AA). Insert the long mounting screws (B) into the designated holes on the mounting strip (A), tightening them two full turns but not completely yet.
3. Step 3: Guide the electrical wires from the outlet box through the central opening of the ceiling plate (C).
4. Step 4: Connect the wires: Twist the stripped ends together (black to black, white to white, and ground/bare to ground/bare) using the wire connectors (BB). Secure these connections by wrapping them with electrical tape (not included).
5. Step 5: Position the ceiling plate (C) over the outlet box, aligning the large ends of the keyhole slots with the heads of the long mounting screws (B). Slide the ceiling plate (C) so the screw heads enter the narrow ends of the keyholes. Tighten the long mounting screws (B) to firmly secure the ceiling plate (C) to the mounting strip.
6. Step 6: Install a light bulb (not included). Use a 60-watt max. standard-base incandescent bulb or CFL/LED equivalent.
7. Step 7: Unscrew the thumb screws (D) from the socket cup.
8. Step 8: Carefully insert the glass shade (E) into its position on the ceiling plate (C). Secure the glass shade (E) by tightening the three thumb screws (D).
