Safety Information
DANGER
- Read and understand all instructions before assembly, installation, or operation. Failure to do so could lead to fire, electrical shock, or fatal injuries.
- Do not connect the fixture to an electrical system without equipment grounding.
- Never use a fixture in a two-wire system that is not grounded.
- Improper grounding can cause metal parts to carry electrical currents, leading to severe shock or death.
- Do not connect the bare or green fixture ground wire to the black (HOT) or white (NEUTRAL) house wire.
- Do not damage or cut wire insulation. Keep wires away from sharp edges to prevent cuts and potential electrical shock.
WARNING
- This product must be installed according to applicable installation codes by a person familiar with its construction, operation, and hazards.
- All electrical connections must comply with local codes, ordinances, and the National Electric Code (NEC) and ANSI/NFPA 70-1999.
- Consult your municipal building department for local codes, permits, and inspections.
- For dwellings built before 1985, supply wire may be rated for 140°F; consult a qualified electrician.
- Use gloves when handling parts with sharp edges to avoid personal injury.
- Do not use power tools to assemble the fixture to prevent damage.
- Do not suspend any fixture by the house wires; mount directly to an outlet box or mounting strap attached to the outlet box. The outlet box must be supported by the building structure.
- Wire connectors will not support the fixture's weight; suspending by wires can cause the fixture to fall, resulting in injury or fire.
- Wire connectors provided are designed for one 12-gauge house wire and two fixture lead wires. Consult an electrician if house wires are larger or if more than one house wire needs connection.
CAUTION
- Turn off electricity at the main fuse box or circuit breaker before installation.
- If unsure about grounding, do not attempt installation; contact a qualified electrician.
- All fixtures must be mounted to a building structure-supported outlet box.
- Consult a professional for correct dimmer switch type and rating if using one.
- Ensure all screws, bolts, and nuts are secure before completing installation.
- Do not tamper with or attempt to repair the LED component; it is designed for this application and requires trained personnel for servicing.

Visual: A circuit breaker panel is depicted, with arrows indicating the switching off of circuit breakers.
Remove existing fixture and disconnect all electrical wiring.
Visual: An existing ceiling fixture is shown being detached, with electrical wires disconnected.
Loosen (but do not remove) mounting strap screws (C) from the edges on the top of fixture (A). Twist mounting strap (B) to remove mounting strap (B) from fixture (A).
Visual: Mounting strap screws (C) are shown being loosened, and mounting strap (B) is depicted being twisted off fixture (A).
Attach mounting strap (B) to outlet box (not included) using existing washers and outlet box screws or the machine screws (BB).
Note: If outlet box screws differ from machine screws (BB), consult a licensed electrician.
Tighten machine screws (BB) to secure mounting strap (B).
CAUTION: Ensure the outlet box can support 35 lbs. hanging weight. Use a metal outlet box; plastic outlet boxes are not recommended.
Visual: Mounting strap (B) is shown secured to an outlet box using machine screws (BB).
Hardware Used: BB Machine Screw x 2
Prepare wire by stripping 1/2 in. of insulation from wire ends using wire strippers.
Unwrap bare wire from BLACK and WHITE wires.
Connect BARE/GREEN ground wire from outlet box to BARE wire from fixture (A) using wire connector (AA).
Connect WHITE wire from fixture (A) to WHITE wire from outlet box using wire connector (AA).
Connect BLACK wire from fixture (A) to BLACK wire from outlet box using wire connector (AA).
Note: Screw wire connectors (AA) on in a clockwise direction.
WARNING: Never connect ground wire to WHITE or BLACK power supply wires.
WARNING: Wire connectors (AA) are designed for one 12-gauge house wire and two fixture lead wires. Consult an electrician if house wires are larger or if more than one house wire needs connection.
Visual: Wiring connections are illustrated: the bare/green ground wire from the outlet box connects to the bare fixture wire using connector (AA); the white fixture wire connects to the white outlet box wire using connector (AA); the black fixture wire connects to the black outlet box wire using connector (AA).
Hardware Used: AA Wire Connector x 3
Wrap electrical tape around each wire connector (AA) down to the wire. Push wire connectors (AA) gently back into the outlet box. Carefully push excess wiring into the outlet box.
WARNING: Ensure no bare wire or wire strands are visible after making connections.
Visual: Wire connectors (AA) are shown wrapped with electrical tape and being pushed into the outlet box.
Align loosened mounting strap screws (C) on the mounting strap (B) with notches on fixture (A). Twist mounting strap (B) clockwise until it locks into place and is secure. Tighten both mounting strap screws (C) securely.
Restore power and test the fixture (A) using the remote control.
If the light does not function, refer to TROUBLESHOOTING on page 10.
