Troubleshooting
1. Vehicle Does Not Run:
- Battery Low: Charge the battery after each use or at least once a month. Do not charge for more than 20 hours.
- Thermal Fuse Tripped: The vehicle has a self-resetting fuse. If overloaded or misused, it will cut off power for 5-20 seconds. Avoid overloading (max 30 kg), towing, driving on slopes, driving into objects, driving in very hot weather, or tampering with electronics.
- Loose Connections: Ensure battery connectors and wires are securely plugged in.
- Dead Battery: Battery may need replacement if old or not maintained properly.
- Damaged System: Water, dirt, gravel, or sand can damage electronics or jam switches.
- Damaged Motor: Motor may require repair or replacement.
2. Battery Will Not Recharge:
- Check battery/adapter connectors for looseness.
- Ensure the charger is properly plugged into a working outlet.
- Check if the charger is warm during charging; if not, it may be faulty.
3. Vehicle Runs for Short Time:
- Undercharged Battery: Charge for the recommended time (6-7 hours). Charge at least monthly. Do not charge for more than 7 hours at a time if issues persist.
- Old Battery: Battery capacity degrades over time. Replace after 1-3 years of use.
4. Battery Buzzes/Gurgles During Charging: This is normal.
5. Charger Warms During Charging: This is normal.
General Battery Caution: Always switch off and disconnect the battery immediately after use. Accidental activation or leaving the battery connected can lead to deep discharge, loss of power, damage, or fire hazard. Never attempt to charge deeply discharged batteries. Maintain battery voltage above 11.9V. Fully charged is approx. 13V. Recharge intact batteries within 12 hours after use (after a 10-minute cool-down). Store batteries with a charge of at least 12.3V and check/recharge every 3 months if not in use.
Disposal Instructions
Batteries: Do not dispose of batteries in domestic waste. They must be collected separately and disposed of professionally. Return used batteries to retail stores for free recycling. Batteries contain substances that can be irritant or cause allergies; proper recycling is important for health and the environment. Symbols Hg, Cd, Pb indicate the presence of mercury, cadmium, or lead above specified limits.
Electrical Appliances: Do not dispose of electrical appliances in domestic waste; dispose of them separately at communal collection points. Remove any personal data before disposal.
