Danfoss MBS 8200 and MBS 8250 Heavy Duty Pressure Transmitters

Document Type: Datasheet

Overview

The Danfoss MBS 8200 and MBS 8250 are heavy duty pressure transmitters designed for demanding industrial and mobile hydraulic applications. They are suitable for environments with pressure pulsations and vibrations. The MBS 8200 utilizes a piezoresistive sensor element combined with a programmable gain amplifier, offering high accuracy and temperature compensation. The MBS 8250 features a built-in pulse snubber for applications with severe media influences like cavitation, water hammer, or pressure peaks.

Features

Applications

The MBS 8200 and MBS 8250 are ideal for hydraulic systems where pressure pulsations and vibrations are common, such as during quick valve closures or pump start/stop cycles. They perform well even in low-pressure applications and are minimally affected by media viscosity, with response times remaining below 4ms even for high viscosity fluids (up to 100 cSt).
