Getting Started
Powering On and Off
Press and hold the Power button [power-symbol] located on the top panel to turn the speaker on or off. The indicator light will illuminate when the speaker is powered on.
Bluetooth Pairing
To connect your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device:
- Press the Bluetooth button [bluetooth-symbol] on the speaker. The Bluetooth indicator will flash blue.
- On your device, enable Bluetooth and select "JBL Xtreme 2" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will turn solid blue.
The JBL Xtreme 2 can connect to up to two devices simultaneously.
JBL Connect+
Wirelessly connect multiple JBL Connect+ enabled speakers together to amplify the listening experience. Press the JBL Connect+ button [connect-plus-symbol] on each speaker to link them.
Key Features
IPX7 Water Resistance
The JBL Xtreme 2 is waterproof with an IPX7 rating. This means it can be submerged in up to 1 meter (3 feet) of water for up to 30 minutes. Ensure the zipper port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water to maintain its water resistance.
Speakerphone
Enjoy crystal-clear calls with the built-in noise and echo cancelling speakerphone. Press the Phone button [phone-symbol] to answer or end calls.
Powerbank Functionality
Charge your external devices, such as smartphones or tablets, using the speaker's USB port. Connect your device's charging cable to the USB output port on the speaker.
Battery Life
The JBL Xtreme 2 offers up to 15 hours of playtime on a single charge, depending on volume and audio content.
