Step 1: Remove Fan Interlocking Key
If the radiator outlet interferes with the fan interlocking key, you can remove them. This involves carefully detaching the interlocking key from the fan frame.
Step 2: Usage of Rubber Pads
Secure the fan to the radiator. Apply the provided rubber pads to the fan frame where it contacts the radiator. This enhances the overall aesthetics and can help with vibration dampening.
Step 3: Fan to Fan Connection
Each group (channel) can daisy-chain a maximum of:
- 4 x UNI FAN SL Wireless fans
- 3 x UNI FAN SL Wireless LCD fans
- 4 x UNI FAN SL Wireless and LCD mix (up to 2 LCDs)
Fans connect to each other via integrated connectors on the frame. Ensure the connectors align and click securely.
Step 4: Cable Organize (Shorten)
Measure the required cable length for your setup. Use the provided cable ties or the integrated cable management features to neatly bundle and secure excess cables. This improves airflow and aesthetics.
Step 5: Switch Cable Orientation on L-Wireless Receiver
To change the cable orientation on the L-Wireless Receiver, first release the connector by pressing the tab. Then, reorient the cable and secure it back into the receiver.
Step 6: Fan Cable Connect
Connect the fan cables to the appropriate headers on your motherboard:
- Connect to MB USB 2.0 header for controller communication.
- Connect to PWM fan header for fan speed control.
Step 7: L-Wireless Receiver Installation
When installing the power module into the L-Wireless Receiver, be mindful of the direction. The sockets are different in size to ensure correct orientation. Insert the module firmly until it clicks into place.
Step 8: Option Kits - L-Wireless Controller
The L-Wireless Controller (Models: RF-T-B, RF-T-W) allows management of multiple devices. Each controller supports up to 10 channels of devices. Installation involves connecting the controller to the motherboard's USB 2.0 header and a PWM fan header, as detailed in Method 1 and Method 2.
Method 1: Connect to MB USB 2.0 header
Connect the controller's USB cable to an available USB 2.0 header on your motherboard.
Method 2: Connect to PWM fan header
Connect the controller's PWM cable to a PWM fan header on your motherboard for fan speed control.
