ThermoPro TP65 Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Humidity and Temperature Monitor
Model No.: TP-65
Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of the wireless indoor/outdoor humidity and temperature monitor. This device allows you to monitor outdoor and indoor temperature and humidity from the comfort of your home.
Hints and Tips
If the receiver does not connect to the transmitter, try the following:
- Press and hold the CHANNEL/SYNC button on the base station and then press the TX button on the transmitter.
- Relocate the base station and/or the remote unit until a connection is found.
- Signals from other electronic devices may cause interference. Place the base station and receiver away from these devices.
- The transmitter may not function properly in extreme temperatures due to battery power. Replace the batteries; the unit will resume proper function in more moderate weather.
- If the base station is attached to a refrigerator or a metal object by magnet, the transmission range may be shorter. Remove the base station from the refrigerator or metal object, or place the base station and remote sensor as close as possible.
- If the Humidity is lower than 10%, it will display 'LLL'.

- Do not immerse the unit in water.
- Do not remove any screws.
- Do not dispose of this unit in a fire, as it may explode.
- Keep the unit away from small children, as the unit or parts of it might be a choking hazard.

- Humidity range: 10% ~ 99%.
Battery Installation and Setup
- Open the battery compartment of the remote sensor.
- Slide the channel selector switch inside the battery compartment to your desired channel (1, 2, or 3).
- Insert 2 AAA batteries into the remote sensor, observing polarity markings. Replace the battery compartment cover.
- Open the battery compartment at the back of the base station and insert 2 AAA batteries, observing polarity markings. Replace the compartment door.
Note: Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon zinc), or rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries. For maximum performance, use good quality alkaline batteries. A low battery icon will appear on the base station display when battery power is low.
Synchronize Remote Sensors with the Base Station
Follow these steps to pair and reconnect the base station and remote sensor, especially after replacing batteries or if connection is lost:
- Position the remote sensor near the base station.
- After installing batteries in the base station, the RF signal icon (top left of the display) will flash for 3 minutes, indicating synchronization mode.
- If 3 minutes have passed and the RF signal icon is no longer flashing, press and hold the CHANNEL/SYNC button on the base station for 3-4 seconds until the icon flashes again.
- Install batteries in the remote sensor, wait a moment, or press the TX or RESET button. The remote sensor's temperature/humidity will appear on the base station display upon successful synchronization.
- For additional remote sensors (up to 3), repeat the synchronization process for each.
- If multiple sensors are registered, press the CHANNEL/SYNC button to select a channel for permanent display. Press until a circular arrow icon appears under the channel number to enable auto-scroll mode (changes channel every 5 seconds). Press again until the arrow disappears to stop auto-scrolling.
Note: When synchronizing multiple sensors, the unit may cycle through channels for the first three minutes. After that, you can select a channel or use auto-scroll mode.
Place the Base Station and Remote Sensor
- Place the indoor base station in a well-ventilated indoor area, away from vents, heating/cooling elements, direct sunlight, windows, doors, or other openings.
- Place the remote sensor on a flat surface, indoors or outdoors, ensuring it is within transmission range of the base station with minimal obstructions.
- Both the base station and remote sensor can be wall-mounted.
Note: While the remote sensor is rainproof, it must be placed upwards to prevent rain from entering the vent holes, which are crucial for accurate and quick detection of environmental temperature and humidity.
Maximum & Minimum Recorded Temperature & Humidity
- Press the MAX/MIN/Clear button once to display the highest recorded indoor and outdoor temperatures/humidity since the last reset (MAX will be shown).
- Press the button again to display the lowest recorded indoor and outdoor temperatures/humidity (MIN will be shown).
- To clear and reset the max/min records, press and hold the MAX/MIN/Clear button for 3 seconds while MAX or MIN is displayed.
- When MAX or MIN is displayed, press the ALL-TIME/24 button once to set the data record time interval between ALL TIME or 24 hours. Note: Both settings refer to the time since the last manual clear or battery installation.
