- Note: CASIO Computer Co., Ltd. is not responsible for any damage or loss resulting from use or malfunction of the watch.
User Maintenance
Caring for Your Watch
- Keep your watch and band clean by wiping with a soft cloth to remove dirt, sweat, and water.
- Rinse with clean fresh water after exposure to seawater or mud.
- For metal bands or resin bands with metal parts, use a soft toothbrush or similar tool with a weak solution of water and mild neutral detergent or soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Wrap the watch case with plastic wrap to prevent contact with detergent.
- For resin bands, wash with water and dry with a soft cloth. Smudge patterns may appear on resin bands but do not affect skin or clothing; wipe with a cloth to remove.
- Clean leather bands with a soft cloth.
- Periodically rotate the crown and press buttons to maintain proper operation.
Dangers of Poor Watch Care
- Rust: Rust can form if the watch is not cleaned after it becomes dirty. Rust can cause sharp areas on metal components, cause band pins to fly out, or interfere with performance. Stop use and seek service if rust is noticed.
- Premature Wear: Leaving sweat or water on a resin band or bezel, or storing in high moisture areas, can lead to premature wear, cuts, and breaks.
- Skin Irritation: Individuals with sensitive skin may experience irritation. Keep bands clean. Remove watch and consult a skin care professional if irritation occurs.
- Battery: The special rechargeable battery is not user-removable. Use of an incorrect battery can damage the watch. The rechargeable battery is charged by the solar panel. Capacity or charging efficiency may deteriorate over time. Contact a service center if operation time is too short.
