Google Assistant Setup
This guide provides instructions for setting up and using Google Assistant with your JBL Tour Pro 2 headphones.
Setting Up Google Assistant
- Connect your headphones to your mobile device.
- Set up Google Assistant using your mobile device:
- On your Android™ device, press and hold the home button to open Google Assistant and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Note: This feature is only available on Android.
Compatibility: Google Assistant is available on eligible Android 6.0* devices or later. It works on Lollipop, Marshmallow, and Nougat Android Phones with Google Play Services, more than 1.5GB of memory, and 720p or higher screen resolution.

Using Google Assistant
Functions and Actions:
- Talk to Google Assistant: Tap and hold the voice button while talking, then release the button to trigger. Requires pairing with an eligible phone and internet connection.
- Get your notifications: Tap and hold the voice button without talking, then release the button.
- Stop Google Assistant: Tap the voice button once.
- Reply to a message (where available): After receiving a message notification, tap and hold the voice button to respond. When you're done, release the button.

- To turn on or off Google Assistant, please download the JBL Headphones app. You can select this option under Settings > Voice assistant.
Amazon Alexa Setup
This guide provides instructions for setting up and using Amazon Alexa with your JBL Tour Pro 2 headphones.
Setting Up Amazon Alexa
- Connect your headphones to your mobile device.
- On your mobile device, open or download the Amazon Alexa app and follow the app instructions.
- In the Amazon Alexa app, navigate to the Device Page.
- Click the Plus (+) button on the top right of the screen and select 'Add Device'.
- Select 'Headphones' from the list and then choose your Headphones in the Available Devices section. Follow the rest of the instructions in the Alexa app to complete set up.
- Alexa setup has been completed for your device. Tap and hold the action button and try one of the below utterances:

Using Amazon Alexa
Things to Try and Examples:
- Ask for the weather: Say "What's the weather?"

- Voice control your smart home devices: Say "Turn on the lights."
- Discover more skills: Say "What new skills do you have?"
- Stop Alexa: While Alexa is talking, say "stop" while tapping and holding the action button, then release the button.
Important Notes:
- Amazon Music is set as the default music service. To change the default music service, use the Alexa app.
- Android™ 6.0 or higher is required for full access to Alexa features when using this device.
- To turn on or off Amazon Alexa, please download the JBL Headphones app. You can select this under Settings > Voice assistant > Amazon Alexa.
- Alexa is not available in all languages and countries. Alexa features and functionality may vary by location.
