What's in the Box
The box contains the following items:
- JBL LIVE PRO 2 TWS earbuds (Left and Right)
- Charging case
- USB-C charging cable
- Multiple sizes of ear tips (S, M, L) for a custom fit

Download the free JBL Headphones app to gain more control and personalization over your listening experience. The app allows for advanced control customization, EQ settings, firmware updates, and more.
How to Wear
For optimal fit and audio performance, try the different ear tip sizes (S, M, L) provided to find the best seal for your ears.
First Time Use
Prepare your earbuds for their first use.
Power On & Connect
Open the charging case to automatically power on the earbuds. For the initial connection:
- On your device (e.g., smartphone or tablet), go to Bluetooth settings.
- Select "JBL LIVE PRO 2 TWS" from the list of available devices to connect.
For Android 6.0+, you can tap to pair, and the device will be tied to your Google Account.
Dual Connect + Sync
This feature allows you to use both earbuds simultaneously. You can choose between:
- Stereo Mode: Use both earbuds for immersive audio.
- Mono Mode: Use either the Left or Right earbud independently.
Multi-point Connection
Connect your earbuds to up to two devices at the same time. To switch between devices or manage connections:
- Tap once on an earbud to play/pause music or answer/end a call.
- Hold for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode for a new device.
Controls
Control your music, calls, and features directly from the earbuds. Customization is available via the JBL Headphones app.
- Left Earbud (L):
- Tap once: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call.
- Tap twice: Activate Voice Assistant (Google Assistant, Siri, Bixby, Alexa).
- Tap three times: Not assigned by default (can be customized in app).
- Hold (2 seconds): Cycle through ANC, Ambient Aware, or TalkThru modes.
- Right Earbud (R):
- Tap once: Play/Pause music, Answer/End call.
- Tap twice: Activate Voice Assistant (Google Assistant, Siri, Bixby, Alexa).
- Tap three times: Skip track forward.
- Hold (2 seconds): Cycle through ANC, Ambient Aware, or TalkThru modes.
Note: Advanced controls and Voice Assistant assignment (Bixby, Siri, Google Assistant, Alexa) require connection to the JBL Headphones app.
Auto Play/Pause
The earbuds automatically pause music playback when you remove an earbud from your ear and resume when you put it back in.
VoiceAware
Adjust how much of your own voice you hear during calls. This setting can be managed within the JBL Headphones app.
Power Off
To turn off the earbuds, simply place them back into the charging case.
Factory Reset
If you need to reset your earbuds to their original factory settings:
- Place both earbuds in the charging case and keep the case open.
- Tap twice on each earbud, then press and hold both earbuds for 5 seconds.

Charging
Earbuds: Place the earbuds in the charging case to charge them. The case LED will indicate charging status.
Charging Case: Connect a USB-C cable to the case or place it on a Qi-certified wireless charging pad (pad not included).
LED Behaviors
The LED indicators on the earbuds and charging case provide information on connection status and battery levels.
- Bluetooth Connecting: LED flashes blue.
- Bluetooth Connected: LED is solid blue.
- Bluetooth Not Connected: LED is off or flashes slowly.
- Low Battery: LED may turn red or flash red.
- Charging: LED is solid white or pulsing.
- Fully Charged: LED turns off or becomes solid white.
