PURIFICATION PROCESS
Dr. Aquaguard® Classic (WATER FLOW DIAGRAM)
The purification process for the Dr. Aquaguard® Classic starts with Raw Water Inlet, passing through a Diverter Valve. It then goes through a Pre-Filter, followed by an Activated Carbon Block. Next is the UV Reflector Disinfection Chamber, then the Biotron Cartridge, and the Mineral Guard stage. Finally, water passes through the Purity Sensor and UV Lamp via a QG Tube to the Water Outlet Spout.

While the water is completely purified after the above 5 stages, Dr. Aquaguard Classic has one more benefit, a unique Intelligent Purity Sensor. This electronic eye monitors the purification process and stops the flow of water immediately, if the level of purification is not 100%.

The purification process for the Dr. Aquaguard® Classic Booster includes Raw Water Inlet, Diverter Valve, Pre-Filter, Activated Carbon Block, UV Reflector Disinfection Chamber, Mineral Guard, Biotron Cartridge, Purity Sensor, UV Lamp, QG Tube, and Water Outlet Spout.
PURIFICATION PROCESS IN DR. AQUAGUARD® CLASSIC COMPACT (WATER FLOW DIAGRAM)
The purification process for the Dr. Aquaguard® Classic Compact includes Raw Water Inlet, Diverter Valve, Pre-Filter, Activated Carbon Block, UV Reflector Disinfection Chamber, Mineral Guard, Biotron Cartridge, Purity Sensor, UV Lamp, QG Tube, and Water Outlet Spout. It also shows a Pump before the Raw Water Inlet.

Once your drinking water is completely purified, Dr. Aquaguard adds one more benefit an Intelligent Purity Sensor. This system constantly monitors the purification process, stopping the flow of water immediately, if the level of purification is not 100%.
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO PURE DRINKING WATER
- Fit plug into socket. To switch ON the unit, press the power switch. The red LED will glow for 5 seconds, indicating that the power is ON.
- After 5 seconds, the yellow LED will glow for around 30 seconds, indicating that the unit is processing water.
- When the green LED glows, you'll hear 3 beeps, indicating that the unit is ready to deliver clear, safe drinking water.
- To let the water flow, press the "flow" switch. While you fill your glass, you can opt for a pleasant musical tone by pressing the "music" switch.
- If the unit has not been used for a day or two, allow 2-3 glasses of water to flow out before using the water.
- If the unit is not going to be used for more than 3-4 hours, remember to shut OFF the main switch and the water supply.

Input water quality and pressure are important determinants of flow rate.
In case the water pressure in your area is lower than the minimum specified, we recommend the usage of an external Booster pump. If the pressure is higher than the maximum specified, use of a pressure reducing valve (PRV) is recommended. PRV and Booster pump are available with our company at an additional cost.

MAINTAINING YOUR DR. AQUAGUARD® CLASSIC
Tips for a long relationship with your Dr. Aquaguard® Classic:
- The keyword is cleanliness: Keep the area around your Dr. Aquaguard® Classic range clean and dry. Keep the spout clean and close it with the cap provided.
- Keep the Pre-Filter clean: To ensure that it works well, have it thoroughly cleaned by a Eureka Forbes service technician during every routine service.
- Activated Carbon block cartridge: To ensure that Activated Carbon block Cartridge works effectively, insist it thoroughly cleaned during every service.
- Back flush the Pre-Filter (For Dr. Aquaguard® Classic):
- Disconnect the EVA tubes from the inlet and outlet of the pre-filter.
- Connect the tube from the tap to the outlet nozzle.
- Leave the other nozzle of the pre-filter open.
- Turn the tap ON to maximum pressure and let the water flow for about 10 minutes.
- Reconnect the inlet and outlet nozzle as before. Do not interchange the inlet and outlet of the pre-filter as the candle may get clogged.

IMPORTANT SUGGESTIONS
Dos
- When your Dr. Aquaguard® is not in use, please keep the outlet spout covered with the cap.
- Turn OFF the main switch if you do not plan to use your Dr. Aquaguard® for more than 3-4 hours.
- Store water from your Dr. Aquaguard® in clean containers. For hygienic reasons, it is preferable not to store water for more than 2 days.
- We recommend routine check-ups of your Dr. Aquaguard® at least once in 6 months.
- If your Dr. Aquaguard® has not been used for a long time, allow 2-3 glasses of water to flow out before collecting the water for use.
DON'TS
- Spill water on any panel as this may lead to electric shock.
- Store water from you Dr. Aquaguard® in matkas and candle filters, as the water can get recontaminated.
- Connect ordinary pipes or tubing to the outlet spout to collect water from your Dr. Aquaguard®.
- Use an extension box for power connection.
- Connect hot water supply.
- Install your Dr. Aquaguard® close to a gas stove or cooking range.
WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
General
For the purpose of this warranty, the following expressions shall have the following meanings respectively:
- The 'Goods' shall mean the goods described in the Order Form.
- The 'Customer' shall mean the original purchaser of goods from the company.
- The 'Company' shall mean EUREKA FORBES LIMITED.
- Aquaguard® means and includes Aquaguard®, Aquaguard® Select and Sure from Aquaguard®.
- 'General Terms & Conditions' shall mean the terms and conditions agreed upon by the customer and the company printed on the Order Form.
- 'Invoice' shall mean the invoice issued by the company to the customer describing the goods and indicating, inter alia, the total purchase price thereof and name of the customer.
- 'User Manual' shall mean the instructions for Installation, use and maintenance provided through QR code along with Product supplied by the company.
- EFL reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to change, alter or discontinue and alter the terms and conditions from time to time without any prior notice.
- Any disputes are subject to Mumbai Jurisdiction only.
Post-warranty
- The customer may be offered a yearly Service Contract at the prevailing company rates and terms.
- In case the customer does not wish to enter the Service Contract, he has the option of calling the company's service centre having his Aquaguard® services on an actual basis, i.e., by paying the labour cost and spares needed to attend to that service/complaint call at the prevailing company rates. Such service will be rendered by the company in towns/places where the company has its service centres.
- If during such servicing it is necessary for the company to replace or repair defective components or parts, the customer shall be required to pay for the same as per the company's prevailing price list.
- Eureka Forbes limited reserves the right to offer annual maintenance contract/ensure availability of spares only up to 7 years from the date of invoice.

Warranty Conditions Summary
- The Products are warranted against manufacturing defects for twelve (12) months from the date of original purchase.
- The company's liability under this warranty shall be limited to the first sale and to defects occurring under normal operation and prescribed use.
- Warranty does not cover defects due to negligence, abuse, misuse, faulty care, operation, maintenance, repairs by others, improper electrical supply, or damage from external events.
- Warranty is valid only if goods are duly installed by the company or its authorized agency.
- Consumable items are subject to normal wear and tear and are not covered.
- Reverse Osmosis Membrane warranty (if applicable) is for 1 year or 6,000 litres, subject to input water meeting standard test conditions.
- The company's liability shall not exceed the price paid by the customer for the goods.

HEALTH PROTECT™
For your safety, the specially designed and electronically authenticated purification cartridges of Aquaguard® ensure our promise of 'pure & healthy water or no water' always. In the unlikely usage of a 'non-genuine' purification cartridge that could potentially deliver unsafe water - an indication light will draw your attention. For your complete protection, it even shuts down the purification process. Not just this, it also alerts you in advance when the Aquaguard® purification cartridges are reaching the end of their usable life (6,000 litres), so that you can contact the authorised Eureka Forbes Service Centre for your required 'genuine' purification cartridge replacement.
Cartridges include: i-Filter, Chemi-Block, RO Membrane (in RO/RO+UV/RO+UV+UF models only), UF Filter, Active Copper Cartridge.
