Guia para associar números no XPE 1013 PLUS e PLUS ID com a ITC 4100/5100
XPE PLUS/PLUS ID + ITC 4100/5100
This procedure assumes the devices are running the latest available firmware version. To exemplify this solution, we will use the following products:
- XPE 1013 PLUS ID
- ITC 5100
Diagram Description: A diagram shows the connection between the XPE 1013 PLUS ID, a power source (Fonte), and the ITC 5100. The ITC 5100 has connections labeled 'SIM CARD', 'USB', 'ANT', 'PHONE', and 'POWER'. The XPE 1013 PLUS ID has connections labeled '1- Entrada para chip', '2- Entrada para ramal', and '3- Entrada para o adaptador de tensão'.
BEST PRACTICES FOR INTEGRATING XPE PLUS AND XPE PLUS ID PORTERS WITH INTELBRAS CELLULAR INTERFACES (ITC4100 AND ITC5100)
Some configurations and adjustments are important for the proper functioning between the door intercoms and the cellular interfaces, as demonstrated below:
The XPE door intercom and the ITC must be UPDATED with the latest firmware version available on the site:
- ITC 5100: https://intelbras.com/pt-br/interface-celular-3g-itc-5100#beneficios
- ITC 4100: https://intelbras.com/pt-br/interface-celular-quad-band-itc-4100
- XPE 1013 PLUS: https://intelbras.com/pt-br/porteiro-eletronico-universal-de-13-teclas-xpe-1013-plus
- XPE 1013 PLUS ID: https://intelbras.com/pt-br/porteiro-eletronico-de-13-teclas-xpe-1013-plus-id
PROGRAMMING
Enter programming mode by contacting the XPE through the ITC number (chip), and enable the flexible numbering table using the command:
#241##
Perform the desired flexible extension configurations using the command:
# 25 NF * F ##
Where NF is the physical number to be dialed on the XPE (e.g., 101) and F is the flexible number to be dialed on the ITC (e.g., 99911-0000).
OBSERVATION
- It is only possible to register one flexible number per physical number.
- After each programming, the XPE will emit two long confirmation beeps.
TROUBLESHOOTING
After the previous steps, the door intercom should function correctly with the cellular interface. If there are any dialing failures, check the following points:
- Check if a prefix is configured on the XPE keypad. To disable it, enter programming mode and dial the command:
# + 4 + ##
- If, at the moment of the call, it is reported that the number does not exist, it means that the XPE did not interpret it correctly during registration. In this case, it is necessary to re-register following the recommendations in topic 1 on page 4 of the tutorial.
- The status of the Chip used, according to the LED indications on the cellular interface:
LED | State | Description |
---|---|---|
Ligado | Aceso | Equipment powered on |
Apagado | Equipment turned off | |
Telefone | Aceso | FXS Interface occupied |
Apagado | FXS Interface free | |
Piscando | FXS Interface being called | |
GSM/3G | Aceso | Interface registered with the operator |
Apagado | Interface not registered with the operator | |
Piscando | Interface connecting with the operator | |
Sinal | Aceso | Signal between -51 and -85 dBm - excellent |
Piscando | Signal between -87 and -97 dBm - good | |
Apagado | Signal below -99 dBm - poor/no signal | |
SIM Card | Aceso | SIM Card is present |
Piscando | SIM Card is not present |
ADDITIONAL PROGRAMMING AND ADJUSTMENTS
The Reception volume (speaker) of the XPE must be increased. To do this, use the command:
#7923 ##
The Reception volume of the ITC must also be increased, as shown in Image 2. There is no ideal level; it will depend on each scenario.
Image 2 Description: A screenshot of the 'ITC 5100 Tools' software showing the 'Ajustes de Audio' (Audio Settings) menu. Within this menu, 'Volume de Recepção' (Reception Volume) is displayed with a slider indicating adjustable levels.
OBSERVATION
- After changing the volume of the XPE and the ITC, it is necessary to reconfigure the numbers on the door intercom that are experiencing dialing failures.
OPERATION
- A visitor arrives at the condominium and wishes to speak with the resident of apartment 10, then dials their number on the XPE 1013 PLUS ID keypad.
Diagram Description: An image shows the XPE 1013 PLUS ID with the number '10' displayed. A person is shown dialing the number.
- The XPE will make the call through the ITC to the number registered in the flexible table.
Diagram Description: An arrow points from the XPE 1013 PLUS ID to a smartphone labeled 'Celular do cliente' (Client's Cell Phone) with the number '99911-0000'.
- After answering the call on the cell phone, the user can also activate the outputs of the XPE 1013 PLUS ID, by default factory '**' or '*1' to activate its output F1/F2 and '*2' to activate FB (NA/C/NF).
Important: There is no standard signaling from telephone operators for calls answered by voicemail. Therefore, if this happens, the XPE will keep the call active until a new dialing is initiated or the maximum conversation time, configured in the product, is reached. We recommend that when using this type of solution, residents contact their operators to request the deactivation of the voicemail for their phone number.
